Nacon and Eko Software, the creators of Warhammer: Chaosbane, have announced that their co-op action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) on March 19th. The game was first released in Early Access in March 2025.
The game will cost $39.99 for the standard edition. A special “Blood Scales Edition” will be available for $49.99 and includes extra items like unique character appearances, visual effects, 40 pieces of armor, and a 72-hour head start before the official launch.

We had great conversations with players during early access, and their feedback has already made the game better! We’ve added a new character, more areas to fight in, and lots of other improvements. You can currently play through the first chapter, but the full version (1.0) will be much bigger, with four chapters to explore, diverse environments, and a wide range of enemies.
Players can now dive into a huge, darkened world with a compelling story and challenging endgame content, choosing from four distinct heroes. Each hero is paired with a dragon companion that provides strategic support through both passive benefits and strong active abilities. A key feature is deep customization – the Ancestral Grid lets you arrange skills like puzzle pieces, creating powerful combinations and tailoring your character to overcome waves of enemies.
In Dragonkin: The Banished, you play as one of three dragon hunters tasked with saving humanity from a dragon invasion. The game features extensive character customization, letting players create unique builds through a deep system of upgrades. You’ll improve your hero using the Ancestral Grid, unlocking skills with fragments found throughout your journey. The city of Montescail acts as a central base, offering strategic resources and services. Alongside your dragon companion, you’ll uncover a compelling story and enjoy a challenging endgame filled with exciting battles and activities.
