How to Get Fur in Starsand Island

Fur comes from raising cows in Large Animal Barns. Players need to build barns, like the Cattle Barn, and care for their cows. From time to time, cows will produce fur that players can gather by checking the barn or picking it up off the ground.

To build a Cattle Barn and start raising cows at Green Pasture Ranch, you’ll first need to become an Intermediate Rancher. This means completing all the missions given to you by Pastelle.

How to Steal Fur

At Cow Barns in Green Pasture Ranch, players can jump over the fences and collect fur dropped by the big animals by pressing the interact button. Getting fur is random – you won’t always find any – but this method is free. Plus, taking the fur doesn’t seem to impact your relationships with the people on Starsand Island.

How to Get Wool

Wool comes from fluffy animals like rabbits. To get wool regularly, you’ll need to build homes for these animals, such as a Rabbit Hutch. While sheep also produce wool, you’ll need to become a more experienced rancher to unlock them. Other animals on Starsand Island that provide wool include Ebowools and Alpacas.

You can also get wool by opening treasure chests on Starsand Island, or by receiving it as a gift or reward from characters in the game.

Players can gather Wool from grown sheep using an Electric Shearer. You’ll unlock the blueprint for this tool when you reach the Intermediate Rancher skill level, and it costs 800 Coins to purchase. Once you have it, you can shear sheep for Wool whenever you want.

How to Steal Wool

Just like how players can steal fur, they can also get wool by going to Pastelle’s ranch and opening one of the small animal pens. You’ll most likely find wool in the Rabbit Hutch, but it can also be found in places like the sheep barn.

How to Get Colored Wool

You can get colored wool by raising animals like sheep, rabbits, and alpacas. When these animals have babies, the color of the offspring appears to be random, so you might need to try breeding them several times to get the color you want – like red, blue, yellow, green, orange, cyan, or black.

A Rancher quest asks you to bring seven different colored wools – one of each color – to Pastelle. It’s best not to sell any colored wool until you’ve finished this quest.

How to Get Premium Wool and Fur

Animals produce the best wool and fur when they’re happy. Usually, you need to get their Happiness Level to at least 150 points to get these premium products. You can increase their happiness by feeding them good food on time, petting them, and keeping their living areas clean.
