How Many Playthroughs of The Outer Worlds 2 are Needed for the Platinum Trophy?

Currently, it’s unclear exactly how many times you’ll need to play through The Outer Worlds 2 to unlock all achievements and trophies, but it looks like at least two playthroughs will be necessary. Depending on the decisions you make, you might even need to play through the game more than twice, as certain storylines could become unavailable.

The achievement list for The Outer Worlds 2 suggests it will use a similar approach to achievements and trophies as the first game.

It’s unusual for RPGs to have achievements that unlock based on completing other, more difficult achievements, but these games both include them. Ideally, beating the game on Very Hard will also unlock the Hard difficulty trophy automatically. However, if that doesn’t happen, you’ll need to play through the game again to get it.

The game’s highest level seems to be 30, just like the original. There are also plenty of items to collect, such as 100 Pitch/Tossball cards, grounding stations, audio logs, and mural pieces. Hopefully, you won’t miss anything and get locked out of collecting them on a first playthrough.
