Confusing Parts of Deadpool & Wolverine

As a long-time fan of the X-Men universe, I’ve watched Cassandra Nova’s character evolution with great interest. Her transformation from Charles Xavier’s twin sister to the ruler of the Void, pruned by the TVA, leaves me puzzled. I mean, why go through all that trouble of banishing her only for her to become the one ruling over the Void? It doesn’t make much sense to me.

Viewers are sure to enjoy the entertaining ride of “Deadpool & Wolverine” with its mix of humor and action. However, some parts may leave fans slightly puzzled, as there are moments in the film that require more clarification or don’t make perfect sense upon initial viewing.

The confusion in parts of Deadpool & Wolverine can be attributed to some extent to Fox’s timeline in their X-Men film series. However, even if some less dedicated viewers struggle with certain plot points, it won’t diminish the rollercoaster experience of the movie.

As a longtime fan of the X-Men universe, I can appreciate the intricacies and complexities that come with following the stories and timelines of its iconic characters. Having grown up watching Hugh Jackman bring Wolverine to life on the big screen, it was a shock when he met his supposed end in “Logan” back in 2017.

In the year around 2024, the storyline of Deadpool & Wolverine unfolds. Given that other X-Men characters are present in this universe, it’s reasonable to assume Wolverine is part of it as well. So, why didn’t he prevent Deadpool from dying instead of unearthing his Adamantium skeleton? Following the Fox timeline has always been a complex endeavor.

As a die-hard Deadpool fan, I can’t help but rave about his captivating journey in “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Though known for his irrepressible quips and gory escapades, deep down, Deadpool yearns for significance. He longs to be more than just a jokester and a killer. So, who better to team up with than the legendary Avengers of the Sacred Timeline? As a huge fan of Deadpool, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness when I think about the moment his world came crashing down after being rejected by the Avengers. But how on earth did he even hear about this legendary team in the first place? And what’s more, how does he manage to traverse through different universes to find the Sacred Timeline that we all adore?

3 The Importance Of Cassandra Nova

An intriguing twist for some viewers may be the uncovering of Cassandra Nova as Charles Xavier’s long-lost twin. However, this formidable sister was cast out by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), condemned to eternal existence within the Void. Given her abilities, it’s plausible why she didn’t attempt an escape. The Void presented an ideal sanctuary for Cassandra to indulge in her powers, recruit unwavering supporters, and amass an endless supply of riches from the TVA’s discarded banishments.

As a long-time fan of the intricate narrative of Loki’s multiverse saga, I’ve been pondering over a perplexing element of Cassandra Nova’s role in the series. You see, I’m no stranger to the complexities of Marvel’s multidimensional storytelling, but this character leaves me scratching my head.

2 Why Would the Deadpool Corps Agree to Destroy the Multiverse?

A Hundred Deadpools Are Happy To End The Multiverse Saga

When Cassandra Nova was betrayed by the TVA, she decided to use the Time Ripper to destroy the multiverse. To help her, she enlisted the aid of the Deadpool Corps, a multiverse of pruned Deadpools that would stop anyone who tried to deter her ambition to destroy reality. However, why would the Deadpool Corps agree to this? Wouldn’t they rather leave the Void and go home?

The Deadpool Corps aren’t fleshed out that much, so it’s hard to discern a reason other than the fact that the TVA finds Deadpools extremely annoying so they prune them any chance they get. The Deadpool Corps seems pretty good at working towards a common goal, but it’s a tad strange that every single one of them was happy to destroy the multiverse.

In the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine,” a significant portion showcased the eccentric, daring, and entertaining worlds of 20th Century Fox’s past characters. Characters like Blade, Elektra, X-23, and Channing Tatum as Gambit played crucial roles in advancing the storyline. Towards the end, Deadpool pleads with the TVA to restore these characters to their respective universes. However, considering that these characters have been “pruned,” doesn’t it mean their universes no longer exist?

As a longtime fan of both Deadpool and X-Men, I’ve been pondering over the intricacies of their interconnected universes after watching the recent Deadpool 3 teaser. The ending scene left me in a state of curiosity: Dafne Keen’s X-23 is seated at a table with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. This has me questioning, what exactly does this mean for these characters and their universes?
