Fans are buzzing about potential new downloadable content for Mario Kart World! GamesRadar+ noticed that Nintendo recently added an animation of King K. Rool, the villain from Donkey Kong Bananza, to the Nintendo Today app. This animation is scheduled to appear after The Game Awards on December 15th, leading many to believe DLC is on the way. Mario Wiki has also been updated with this new information.
It’s unusual that Nintendo hadn’t featured King K. Rool from Donkey Kong Bananza in their marketing until recently. Adding his animation to the app after The Game Awards has led fans to believe an announcement could be coming soon. To add to the speculation, the voice actors for King K. Rool and Void Kong were both listed in the credits for Mario Kart World. However, it’s important to remember this is all just speculation – Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed or even suggested any Donkey Kong Bananza content for Mario Kart World.
