Okay, gamers, listen up! I’m really excited because Little Rocket Lab is launching on the Nintendo Switch on December 10th! It’s awesome that Switch players won’t have to wait long – it’s coming just months after the game first came out. For a while, it was only available on Xbox, but now everyone can get in on the fun!
Teenage Astronauts’ debut game, Little Rocket Lab, is a relaxing blend of RPG and factory-building. You play as Morgan, a young engineer who’s rebuilding her childhood home into a rocket-building factory. It’s a big task, so she starts small, creating a complete system for gathering materials before she can even begin working on the rocket itself. This means exploring the world, collecting resources, and carefully planning how to expand her factory. The game takes place in a charming village filled with friendly characters that Morgan can get to know and assist.
After Xbox Launch, Little Rocket Lab Quietly Gets Nintendo Switch Release Date
Little Rocket Lab first became available on Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 7th. Now, it’s confirmed to be launching on the Nintendo Switch on December 10th. The release date appeared on the game’s Nintendo eShop page, where it’s priced at $19.99 – the same as on Steam and the Xbox/Microsoft Store. Publisher No More Robots hasn’t said why the Switch version is coming out later than the others. However, the brief delay is probably due to Teenage Astronauts needing extra time to finish adapting the game for the Switch, and not because of any long-term exclusivity deal.

Beyond collecting materials and building up your factory, Little Rocket Lab offers puzzles, quests, and complex machines to create. The charming town is split into distinct areas – like beaches, quarries, underground tunnels, and rail yards – each with its own unique look and challenges. Players generally spend around 33 hours completing the game, which is similar to other cozy indie titles and offers great value for money – costing less than a dollar per hour of playtime.
No More Robots’ Switch Catalog Keeps Growing
No More Robots is releasing its 15th game on the Nintendo Switch, called Little Rocket Lab. It’s now available on all previously announced platforms. The publisher has brought several other games – like Descenders Next, Soccer Story, and Fashion Police Squad – to PlayStation consoles, so a PlayStation version of Little Rocket Lab could happen in the future. If you enjoy cozy games on Switch, you might also like Spirittea, another game published by No More Robots late last year. It’s a life simulation game developed by Cheesemaster Games, inspired by Stardew Valley and the film Spirited Away.
