As you explore the Abyss in the Crimson Desert, you’ll eventually reach the Cradle of Truth. This final challenge involves moving a battery across a room while dodging dangerous lasers.

We’ve created a video showing how we solved this puzzle in under a minute. You’ll also find a simple, step-by-step guide right here to help you clean the battery and easily activate the Abyss Gate.

Cradle of Truth Puzzle Walkthrough in Crimson Desert

  1. Use Axiom Force (L3) on the burning battery to the left.
  2. Push (R2) so that the battery is as far as it can go while you stand on the edge of the map.
  3. Use a Jump + Triple Force Palm (R3 in midair) to gain height, then immediately enter Flight (Square).
  4. Fly over the Abyss and use Axiom Force while in the air to pick up the battery and carry it while flying to the other side.
  5. If you’re running out of Stamina or you’re getting too low, then land safely on one of the platforms by letting go of the battery (Circle) and landing.

  1. Repeat the process of gaining height with the Triple Force Palm and Axiom Force on the battery until you reach the other side.
  2. With the battery, dunk it into the water on the right, and then place it into the empty slot.
  3. Use Jump + Force Palm to knock the battery into place, then use Jump + Force Palm on the Abyss Gate to activate it, which will provide you with the Abyss Artifact and the Abyss Gate that takes you to the path ahead.
