Last year, One Piece shared a series of updates concerning its past and upcoming projects. Among them was One Piece Base, an app specifically designed for the series, which debuted in Japan in 2024. However, there’s been no news yet about when it will be made available in English.
Ever since then, international fans have been eagerly anticipating the chance to use the app, and now their wait has come to an end! On February 25, 2025, One Piece Base was made available worldwide. The application launched simultaneously in two popular stores, boasting a unique feature called the One Piece Portrait Generator.
One Piece Base Allows Users To Generate Eiichiro Oda-style Wanted Posters
Once you’ve added a photo to the app, followers are tasked with answering some questions. After they’ve finished these tasks, a Wanted Poster will be created. Additionally, the app will award various rewards, or bounties, to users based on their responses.
Due to the recent launch of One Piece Base, they’re currently offering two Portrait Generator Conversion Tickets as a promotional gift. This offer lasts until March 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time. It is essential to note that these gifts must be claimed within thirty days of the campaign, or they will no longer be available for redemption.
The One Piece Base platform is not just limited to watching the anime, but it’s also a great place to read the manga. As of now, you can access the first 12 volumes without any charges. However, if you want to rent the remaining 95 volumes, you’ll need to use rental tickets or the internal currency. There are two kinds of rental tickets – green and red ones, which grant users a 72-hour (or 3-day) access period to the volume they’ve chosen.
Using Berries & Tickets To Rent New Volumes

The Rental Pass for the General Item comes in red, allowing you to borrow any item. The Special Volume Rental Pass, on the other hand, is green and is designed for use with a particular item only.
Previously mentioned, enthusiasts can employ the internal currency, berries, to lease volumes within the app too. To view the pricing for each pack, enthusiasts should navigate to the Shop section. The shop also offers conversion tickets for purchase, and enthusiasts can buy as many as they desire. Interestingly, the shop doesn’t offer rental tickets. Therefore, the sole method of accessing a locked volume is by buying it with berries. However, it is feasible that additional free volumes will be made available in the future.
Given that the app debuted just recently, there’s going to be a bit of a wait before additional features become available. To keep excitement levels high, enthusiasts might want to explore the portrait generator in the interim, aiming to collect the maximum reward possible.
One Piece Base is available to download on iOS and Android.
