As a Crimson Desert player, I’m always excited about new gear, and the Arben Greatsword is definitely something you’ll want to get your hands on! It’s a really powerful two-handed weapon that could easily become your go-to, and the best part is, it’s not too hard to find.

You can find the Arben Greatsword at Horseshoe Lake, a small island located between Demeniss and Delsyia. We’ve included a map showing the exact location, as well as the weapon’s stats, so you can decide if it’s right for your character.

How to Get the Arben Greatsword in Crimson Desert

  • The Arben Greatsword can be obtained from the small island connecting Demeniss and Delesyia.
  • You can find this island by going directly north from the “D” in “Delesyia”, but we’ve also marked it on the map above.
  • Once you arrive at Horseshoe Lake, you will notice some thick vines in the center of a tree.
  • Use Blinding Flash (L1+R1+L1) to burn through the vines to clear a path.
  • Once the path is clear, walk to the center to find a wooden hatch that leads to the Horseshoe Lake Burrow cave.
  • Inside this cave, you can head south to find the Arben Greatsword leaning against a wall among a pile of treasure.

The Arben Greatsword is a solid choice for players just starting out with two-handed weapons. It has five potential upgrade slots, but you’ll need to pay a Witch with Silver Coins to activate them before you can use them.

Honestly, the damage output is pretty decent, especially considering it’s only at Refinement Level 3. But, I’ve found some other weapons while exploring that are actually better, and some are way easier to get than the Arben Greatsword. So, if you’re not totally in love with how it looks, you might want to focus on those instead.
