To craft certain items in Crimson Desert, you’ll need Small Batteries. You can obtain these by defeating the humanoid robots found in the Deleysia region. When you destroy these robots, they drop Small Batteries along with other useful parts like Cogs and Gunpowder. The best place to farm these batteries is along the roads southeast of Deleysia, as that area is densely populated with robotic enemies.

Crimson Desert Small Battery Farm

In southeastern Deleysia, you’ll encounter robots that frequently drop Small Batteries while patrolling camps and strongholds. The roads are heavily guarded, with constant attacks from robot dragonflies and larger, powerful robots. It’s crucial to be well-equipped with healing items and strong gear before venturing into this area, as the bigger robots pose a significant threat.

Farming Tips

There are three things you should know before you start farming Small Batteries in Crimson Desert:

  1. Dragonfly swarms are quite literally endless. They don’t pose much of a threat, but they can still ruin your flow while fighting. The best way to deal with them is to bring a Kuku Pack. This can be activated to continuously suck in every mechanical insect in a large area around you. Captured insects are automatically converted to resources.
  2. You need to manually pick up every item dropped by the small bipedal robots. This is even more annoying than the dragonfly swarms, as every skirmish often leaves you with tons of resources that you need to pick up one by one. The best way to deal with this is to bring along a dog that can pick items up for you.
  3. The robots are very deadly. There will be times when you’ll have to fight two or even three of these big guys. Make sure to hit them with strong combos, and if you have the Lightning element and the Imbue Element skill unlocked, use Lightning-imbued Turning Slashes to deal massive damage against them. Big robots will also drop Electric Components, which you’ll need to collect using Axiom Force and a Kuku Pot/Pack.

Okay, so a quick tip for anyone playing: seriously, farm those Small Batteries before you start taking out the HALL strongholds in southeastern Deleysia. Once those strongholds are clear, the roads become way safer – you’ll run into a lot fewer enemy robots, trust me. I’m about to hit that part of the main Crimson Desert story, and I’m stocking up on batteries now, because you need a ton of them for that area.
