Each location is shrouded in darkness, compelling players to delve into shadowy corners and unexplored rooms with a constant sense of dread, knowing they might be unexpectedly attacked by the grotesque beings that can only be vanquished with several powerful shots.

Where To Find the Shelter Key in Cronos: The New Dawn

After their initial confrontation with the boss, players will need to utilize the Dive Point to access Edward’s apartment. Inside, they’ll discover a note locked within a safe that reveals details about the Shelter. As you leave Edward’s apartment through the front doors, you’ll find yourself in an entirely new setting – one covered in snow and featuring undamaged buildings. Upon reaching the fountain to your left, you’ll come across the entrance to the Shelter.

Starting from the shelter’s entrance, spin around and head to the right side of what appears to be an Hardware Store. Follow the path, and you’ll spot a cat moving towards an alleyway on your right side. Keep following the cat until it leads you down some stairs into the underground area of an apartment complex. On your right, there’s a room filled with files, while the left door is chained but can be opened using a Boltcutter. Inside, you’ll discover a valuable item and additional resources.

Descend another set of stairs, where you’ll find a metal box that you can lift and move to the opposite side. Suddenly, an enemy emerges from unit 94 here. After handling the situation, explore the contents inside unit 94, where you’ll find the “Shelter Key.” Shortly after obtaining it, additional enemies may appear. If you’re running low on ammo and health, consider quickly pushing the metal box to cross to the other side and avoid this confrontation.

After stepping outdoors, you’ll find a playground to your left. That’s where you’ll encounter Karol, a friendly cat. Once you’ve spent some time with this furry companion, make your way back to the shelter, unlock its door, and continue with the storyline.
