Getting just ten new chapters a year would be great, but there’s no regular release schedule. Because of these challenges, Togashi hasn’t been able to finish any story arcs since the end of the Chairman Association arc.
Togashi is currently making good progress on the next set of Hunter x Hunter chapters. Sources say this batch could be the largest in ten years, potentially around 20 chapters. While there’s no confirmed release date, they’re expected sometime in 2026. Though progress has been slow, the story is moving forward, and fans may see the end of the Succession Contest arc within the next four years, potentially leading to a new anime season.
