Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Officially Releasing Next Week

The new comic book, Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome, will be available both digitally and in stores on January 14th. This is the first official story added to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe in almost a year.

Ever since Cyberpunk 2077 dropped back in 2020, the world around the game has just exploded with extra content. While the Edgerunners anime on Netflix was definitely the biggest hit – everyone was talking about that! – it’s not the only thing. We’ve also gotten an official manga, a full novel, a couple of tabletop RPGs, an artbook, and a ton of comics with like, a dozen different storylines. The newest one, Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad #4, just came out on May 21st, 2025.

Chrome Marks Cyberpunk 2077’s First Slasher Horror Story

This comic, written by Doug Wagner, is a brand new slasher horror story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, created with input from the game’s original creator, Mike Pondsmith. Like other comics based on the popular RPG, Chrome was developed closely with CD Projekt Red (CDPR) to ensure it fits seamlessly into the established Cyberpunk 2077 story and lore.
