As a dedicated gamer with countless hours logged into Cyberpunk 2077, I must admit that I was initially taken aback by the news of no PS5 Pro patch for this masterpiece. Having immersed myself in the vibrant world of Night City, I’ve grown quite attached to its neon-lit streets and the characters that inhabit them.
Since the arrival of the PlayStation 5 Pro, gamers have been curious to know which titles will receive upgrades for the new console and how these enhancements will take place. However, it’s important to note that Cyberpunk 2077 is not among the games set to receive any PS5 Pro updates.
On social media, the game’s official account clarified that there won’t be any new version or changes coming for the game.
“We currently have no plans for PS5 Pro patch,” the post reads.

It’s no longer unexpected that CD Projekt Red is working on new projects outside of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 series, with a new installment in The Witcher franchise and a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. However, this news didn’t come without some feelings of sadness from fans.
One supporter suggested that they should think again about the decision, as there’s a significant desire among players for a Pro update. Such an addition would provide a reason for everybody to embark on another gameplay journey.
