Each Fixer has their own distinct traits, skills, and incentives for your character, V. However, when it comes to character depth and lucrative rewards, who is the standout Fixer to approach in Night City and Dogtown?

Dinoi’s questionable morals in dealing with both clients and associates create a peculiar situation for him, as his job opportunities are somewhat constrained. This makes him more of an underdeveloped fixer compared to others. Additionally, acquiring another Quadra vehicle for the garage won’t enhance his reputation with V, even though he is an intriguing character.

7. Dakota Smith

The Mad Coyote, a No-Nonsense Nomad Fixer in the Badlands

Venturing into the scorching desert, V will encounter Dakota Smith, a local expert in the Badlands ecosystem who happens to be one of the Nomads herself. Dakota thrives on maintaining order in the Badlands, whether that’s her dealings with Raffen Shiv, corporations, or other nomadic tribes – she needs the bloodshed to ensure business continues as usual in these contaminated sands.

Dakota Smith has been in a tough line of work for quite some time, and her chilly demeanor reflects this long experience. Known as the Mad Coyote, Dakota is a hardened Fixer with battle scars to show for it. It’s wise to avoid angering her, for one would quickly understand why she carries that nickname. However, Dakota faces challenges due to the unremarkable nature of her work locations, the Badlands, and the mundane tasks, or Gigs, she encounters. Regardless of the rewards, another car won’t be the solution to her predicament.

6. Sebastian “Padre” Ibarra

A God-Loving Fixer, Respected by the Aldecaldos, With His Interest Only in Balance

In Heywood, Padre is closely connected with the Valentinos and cherished by many. It’s wise not to provoke or challenge him, as anyone who does might end up meeting an unpleasant fate in some secluded back alley. Despite his pious nature, he should not be underestimated. His composed exterior suggests that he holds ultimate authority, and there is nothing he fears more than defying God himself.

Padre provides a variety of tasks that align with his personal code of honor, and though he isn’t tied to any particular cause or group, the jobs he assigns are an expression of what he believes contributes to the power equilibrium in Night City. As compensation for V’s efforts, they receive a respectable firearm, known as the Seraph.

5. Wakako Okada

A Reliable Fixer Who Can Accomplish the Impossible

Wakako Okada’s work isn’t necessarily ethical, but it provides a good income for the tasks she assigns. With fewer concerns about potential issues and more focus on her and her clients, Wakako might not be the best person to approach when things go awry as she swiftly disassociates herself from any problematic situations. It’s worth noting that Wakako has a considerable number of deceased husbands, and it’s unclear if she played a role in their deaths. This suggests her ambition for power is strong.

In Night City, Wakako is a no-nonsense power player who isn’t shy about asking V to handle unsavory tasks. Encountering her is an intimidating experience in itself, as she’s straight-forward and doesn’t mince words. She demands perfection from the mercenaries she hires, whether they’re tasked with robberies or assassinations. For their efforts, V can expect to be compensated generously with the Byakko Katana and a good amount of eddies. However, it’s important to remember that Wakako has no qualms about exacting revenge if crossed.

4. Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes

A Former Corpo Who Deals in Shady Business and a Love of Vehicles

From the Life Path of character V, there could be a strong connection to El Capitan as they both share a past as Corps. However, El Capitan, having experienced the system’s manipulations firsthand, aims to overthrow the current structure and restore power to the people, one mission at a time. El Capitan is solely focused on business, though he may find the term “dirty” distasteful. For him, it’s all about the work.

In Night City, El Capitan boasts a substantial past that keeps him connected with certain members of David Martinez’s Edgerunner team. His passion for vehicles makes him an ideal source for rare automobiles and stylish cars. Moreover, he’s known as the person to approach for tricky assignments that require some ethical contemplation. Additionally, he is equipped with a powerful shotgun called the Bloody Maria.

3. Regina Jones

An Independent Reporter Who Deals Dirty Biz to Help a Cure for Cyberpsychosis

Initially, Regina Jones wasn’t known as a Fixer; instead, she was a renowned reporter for World News Service. Many of her assignments were centered around helping people and ensuring they didn’t experience hardships similar to her own, or even worse.

In her capacity as a problem-solver, Regina deserves recognition. She’s not just a fighter but someone who consistently strives to secure top-notch assignments for V, often navigating tricky moral dilemmas. Beyond this, Regina is deeply committed to studying and apprehending Cyberpsychos with the hope of eventually finding a cure. Interestingly, she asks that rather than eliminating them, you subdue these individuals instead. As a reward for her efforts, she offers a relatively ordinary Frontal Cortex Cyberware, but players can obtain her gun, Skippy, an AI companion in the form of a firearm, which brings joy to many who seek an intelligent sidekick.

2. Rogue Amendiares

The Queen of the Afterlife With Connections Everywhere

In Night City, Rogue Amendiares isn’t frequently hired for V-related gigs, as she’s still a newcomer in this field. However, her credibility is solid enough to support her skillset. Known as the sovereign of the Afterlife, the notorious nightclub where everyone aspires to be a legend, Rogue offers opportunities that validate one’s worthiness for such a title. Rogue selectively chooses clients for jobs because she values trust, dependability, and a job well executed, given her unfamiliarity with most individuals.

In essence, Rogue’s actions revolve around caution and allegiance. Even with decades passing since her ex-lover, Johnny Silverhand, met his end, she continues to take significant risks for him. She is a renowned figure, though not always the best in her line of work. However, her exceptional skills are showcased through her connections tied to Johnny Silverhand, as who wouldn’t want to wield the iconic frontman’s explosive firearm, known as the Samurai’s pistol?

A Cunning Businessman Who Keeps His Own Privacy and Interefers With a Cool-Headed Focus

Known as both Mr. Hands and Wade Bleecker among his inner circle, this remarkable individual has skillfully transformed himself into an enigmatic figurehead in Pacifica and Dogtown, largely unrecognized by the masses. His strategic mindset enables him to make decisions that simultaneously yield profit for his clients and himself, giving the impression of a self-crafted destiny, while subtly orchestrating those around him towards what he perceives as the greater good for Dogtown.

As a dedicated fan, I must say that while Mr. Hands may not have been the main focus in the narrative of Cyberpunk 2077, his well-developed character and the thrilling Gigs he offers in Phantom Liberty make him one of the most unforgettable characters. Admittedly, the cool-looking vehicle he rewards isn’t something earth-shattering, but Mr. Hands’ clever demeanor, razor-sharp focus, enigmatic past, and the intriguing Gigs at his disposal are more than enough to secure a top spot for him. Whether it’s dismantling a child trafficking ring or impersonating an infamous assassin to alter the fate of Dogtown forever, Mr. Hands’ options never fail to excite!
