They describe TapePunk as a way to create a cinematic, retro feel, inspired by the look and feel of actual VHS tapes and our memories of them.
TapePunk includes a warning that its visual style, which mimics the look of old camcorder and VHS tapes, might cause motion sickness for some players. While it can be used on its own, players who have Emry’s Cytropolis 2.0 or the Dreampunk mod can integrate it further into those mods.
