This storyline, initiated by Jim B., will lead character V to learn about a group of unruly jokers who have taken over Night City and are scheming to take control of the city’s gambling industry through devious plans.
Immediately upon receiving this communication, players are dispatched on a mission to gather all the Jokers scattered throughout the city. Once you’ve finished the secret Balatro quest that was added in Cyberpunk 2077’s update 2.2, you will receive a brand new Joker t-shirt as a reward and a collection of Balatro cards will appear in your apartment.
Radek Grabowski, who holds the position of Global PR Director at CD Projekt Red, shared more details about the game’s quest. According to Grabowski, discussions have taken place with the quest design team at CDPR regarding the inclusion of Balatro cards in Cyberpunk 2077. This addition became a reality through the collaboration between quest designer Maria Mazur and in-house artist Olgierd Ciszak.
