Many people know Cyberpunk from the video game Cyberpunk 2077 or the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but it actually began as a tabletop role-playing game. This original game created a rich history that goes back much further than the more recent versions of the story.

The Cyberpunk TCG, a collaboration between WeirdCo and CD Projekt Red, was revealed several months ago and recently launched a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign has been incredibly successful, exceeding its funding goal and raising millions of dollars within just one day.

What are people receiving in exchange for their contributions? The campaign is attracting a lot of funding because physical rewards range from $49 for basic starter sets to $7,999 for larger packages backed by over a hundred people.
