In ARC Raiders, each map hides secrets and locked rooms filled with valuable rewards. You’ll need keys to open them, and these keys are found randomly. While there’s no sure way to find a specific key, searching Residential buildings during active Map Conditions will increase your chances. For example, the Dam Staff Room Key unlocks a room within the Research & Administration Building on Dam Battlegrounds. It’s not a common key, but the rewards inside are worth the trouble, especially if you know the safest route to access it.
How to Use the Dam Staff Room Key in ARC Raiders
The Research & Administration Building at Dam Battlegrounds is a very popular landing spot in all game modes – Solo, Duos, and Trios. Because of its popularity, it’s dangerous to go there unprepared. Expect to encounter other players already fighting or waiting to enter the locked room.
To succeed in combat, it’s smart to have a good set of equipment. This should definitely include Trigger Nades for direct fights and Jolt Mines to protect doorways and prevent enemies from getting behind you.
Okay, so when I drop into Dam Battlegrounds, I always try to get a good map condition going – Hurricane, Night Raid, or Electromagnetic Storm really help with the loot! Once I’m in, I head straight for the R&A building, and I’m always figuring out how to get in. The fastest way is definitely the western entrance – the Staff Room door is right there! If I go in from the south, it’s a bit trickier. I have to push further inside, dealing with enemies like Pops and Fireballs, before I even see the locked door on the right.
There are a few different ways to move through the building. You could take the blue stairs to the upper level and jump down into the lobby, or come in from the lower levels and head upwards. Choosing a different route might help you steer clear of enemies at the beginning, depending on where other players are located.
After unlocking the Staff Room, go inside and be sure to close the door. Inside, you’ll find red lockers that can give you valuable items, as well as Trinkets you can sell for a lot of Coins. Feel free to search thoroughly, but keep an eye out for other players who might come in after hearing the door open.
