GKIDS has unveiled a fresh English dubbed trailer for the upcoming season 2 of “DANDADAN”, set to debut on July 3rd. This follows the successful global debut of “DANDADAN: Evil Eye”, which will officially be available in the U.S. and Canada starting June 6th. The trailer showcases the new opening theme song, “Kakumei Dōchū”, sung by Aina The End.
In addition, the trailer unveils the principal actors for the English-dubbed second season of DANDADAN, with several familiar faces returning to take up their roles again from the first season. The movie version of DANDADAN: Evil Eye had its premiere in Asia, excluding Japan, on May 30, and it’s set to debut in European cinemas on June 7th.
About The Second Season of DANDADAN
The Most Anticipated Return of 2025?
The announcement for the second installment of DANDADAN came swiftly following the suspenseful finale of its initial run, which aired between October and December 2024. Similar to its predecessor, the second season will receive a cinematic release, with the first three episodes combined into a movie as a means to generate excitement for the forthcoming episodes, which are due on July 3.
Although leaks resulted in the early release of half the episodes from the first season online, DANDADAN still emerged as a prominent anime series in 2024. The second season resumes the Cursed House storyline where the previous season ended and progresses into the Evil Eye arc, which is widely regarded as one of the strongest plotlines from the initial episodes.
In the second season of the anime titled DANDADAN, actors such as Abby Trott (from Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead) who voices Momo, A.J. Beckles (Tokyo Revengers‘s Takemichi Hanagaki) portraying Okarun, Aleks Le (Sung Jinwoo from Solo Leveling), renowned Barbara Goodson (Rita Repulsa in Power Rangers) playing Turbo Granny, Lisa Reimold (Falin in Delicious in Dungeon) as Aira, Kari Wahlgren (Fuu from Samurai Champloo) as Granny Seiko, Kaiji Tang (Satoru Gojo in JUJUTSU KAISEN) voicing Taro, Allegra Clark (Kycilia Zabi of Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX) as Hana, Morgana Ignis (Sallie May in Helluva Boss) playing Naki Kito and Anne Yatco (Tonari from To Your Eternity) dubbing The Evil Eye. This season of DANDADAN is jointly directed by Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora, with Hiroshi Seko penning the scripts, Naoyuki Onda designing characters, Yoshimichi Kameda handling creature designs, Satoshi Hashimoto and Kondo Makiho taking care of colour design, Junichi Higashi overseeing art direction, Eri Kitamura directing sound, and kensuke ushio composing the music.
