The fifth season of “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”, or Danmachi V, had its airing halted indefinitely following Episode 11 back in December. However, it’s now scheduled to resume in February. Initially, the production team mentioned that they needed to postpone the episodes due to internal difficulties. Shortly afterward, a new visual for the season was unveiled.

Based on whispers around, it’s said that DanMachi V consists of a total of 15 episodes. If this is true, then four more episodes are yet to be released. This series reportedly follows the Freya arc, spanning volumes 16-18 from the original novel. It appears likely that a sequel will be approved once Season 5 concludes.

The highly anticipated finale of the anime is slated for release on February 8, 2025, however, details about whether it will air all at once or on a weekly basis are yet to be disclosed. This information was found in the 15th volume of the spin-off novel Sword Oratoria, which hit Japanese shelves on January 12, but has not been officially announced on the website as of now.
