In the first season of Daredevil: Reborn, numerous events unfolded. Bullseye made an appearance, The Punisher took action, and Matt Murdock suffered heavily. Now, they all neatly line up on your shelf as Funko Pop figures are available for pre-order. This wave includes five main characters without excessive figures. There are two versions of Daredevil, along with The Punisher, Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), and Bullseye.
A straightforward arrangement, strategic release, and a robust extra addition when assembling a shelf to represent Marvel’s urban turmoil. Here’s a glance at the merchandise you’ll find.
This version aims to be more accessible and engaging while maintaining the original’s essence.
Inside The Daredevil Born Again Funko Pop Lineup
Daredevil With Nunchucks (#1543)
Matt’s back in his signature red suit, gripping his nunchucks as if he’d just rediscovered them. His posture mirrors a classic Pop position: broad shoulders, a subtly angled head, an air of confidence that hints at an impending speech on justice. The sculpt is clean and minimalistic, boasting strong color contrast, devoid of excessive details, which I appreciate. Frankly, this seems to be the one most people will opt for by instinct. It’s the “yep, that’s Daredevil” figurine.
Daredevil Unmasked (#1547) – Entertainment Earth Exclusive
In a new take on the familiar suit, the disguise is removed, revealing an undeniable hint of deep sorrow in Matt’s gaze. It seems that this portrayal might have been inspired by the moment when Matt discovers his friend’s heart has ceased while battling a villain. However, for those seeking a brighter interpretation, one could imagine it as a pause between fights for Matt. This kind of collectible figure is ideal if you’ve already purchased the masked version and desire symmetry on your shelf. And remember, “exclusive” means it will sell quickly, regardless of personal preference.
Kingpin (#1544)
In his distinctive white attire, Fisk makes an entrance, exuding an aura of impending doom with a simple handshake following his usual omelette demolition. There’s no sign of a cane, injuries, or disarray in his tie. Instead, he offers a raised eyebrow, sharp lines, and an unsettling air of threat that lingers quietly. The pose might seem understated, but it perfectly encapsulates the essence of Kingpin – a man who doesn’t require flashiness to command a room or ruin your day, along with everyone and everything you care about. They effectively portrayed this ambiance in the scene.
Punisher (#1545)
Frank Castle makes his appearance with an unexpectedly subdued style. There are no large weapons or bombastic explosions in the background; instead, a weary-looking man in tactical clothing is depicted, longing for solitude. Perhaps he yearns for a cup of coffee. The sculpt masterfully captures that undercurrent of simmering aggression. Moreover, he seamlessly blends with Daredevil if you’re creating your Netflix-era diorama.
Bullseye (#1546)
In this collection, Bullseye makes another appearance. Frankly, I’m not thrilled about it (you can tell from my tone). He’s posed dramatically in a sleek black tactical suit, with two knives at the ready, implying he’s about to carry out some small yet irreversible act. This figure is the only one in the series that leans towards being overly dramatic, but it somehow fits well.
As a die-hard fan of “Born Again”, I must say this action figure set is a solid pick! It’s got most of the main characters nicely represented, with designs that are crisp, faithful to the show, and easy on the eye. Priced at 17 dollars each, it’s not a heavy investment for any collector. If you’re working on your Daredevil shelf, this wave checks all boxes except for Karen Page, let’s face it, she’d probably just be standing there with a folder anyway!
Funko figurines can sometimes be a mixed bag, but this one is definitely a success, not because it offers anything extraordinary, but because it doesn’t try to. It provides two versions of Daredevil (one for posing and one for brooding), a straightforward Kingpin, a composed Punisher, and a Bullseye who at last appears ready to win a fight. If you’ve been following the storyline of “Born Again” since the beginning, this is the merchandise you’ll want to have before the second season premieres. If you’re more interested in iconic characters, it’s still worth purchasing. These figurines likely won’t stay on shelves for long once advertising for the show starts intensifying.
As an eager admirer, I’m thrilled to share the news that pre-orders are now available! Secure your order today and expect delivery in August 2025 – a date that seems surprisingly close when I ponder upon it. Remember, time flies when you’re having fun or waiting for something exciting, so don’t miss out while supplies last!
