Dark Souls 3 Remaster Is In Development, It’s Claimed

As a seasoned Dark Souls player, with countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears poured into mastering its intricate gameplay, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing the rumors of a Dark Souls 3 remaster. If these reports are true, it’s not just a gift for newcomers to the series, but also a chance for veterans like myself to revisit the world of Lordran, Irithyll, and Anor Londo with improved graphics and potentially smoother gameplay.

It appears that FromSoftware intends to reintroduce their highly successful Dark Souls series to a fresh group of players. As per recent reports, it seems that Dark Souls 3 is slated for an upgraded version by the developers themselves.

The report comes from known leaker “Shpeshal Nick” Nick Baker, who made the reveal during the latest episode of his Xbox Era podcast.

He commented, “Many folks may think it’s clear or expected,” but what I’ve learned is that there’s going to be a remastered version of Dark Souls 3.

Baker hinted that he had more information on the remaster, but wasn’t “allowed to pass that on”.

Since its initial release in September 2011, the entire Dark Souls franchise has moved an impressive 35 million units. This iconic game not only captured my heart but also laid the groundwork for the “Souls-like” genre that numerous other games like Nioh, Lords of the Fallen, and many more have since embraced.
