Darkbringer is a powerful two-handed sword in Crimson Desert, excellent for quickly defeating large groups of enemies. As a top-tier weapon with high damage output, it features the unique Ator’s Orb skill, which launches tracking projectiles that damage multiple foes. If you need a weapon to handle challenging missions with overwhelming enemy numbers, Darkbringer is an ideal choice.
Darkbringer Location in Crimson Desert
To obtain the Darkbringer sword in Crimson Desert, you’ll need to head to the White Wastes Sanctuary, which is northwest of Pailune village. This area is snowy and causes a freezing effect on your character, so be sure to equip gear with Ice Protection and bring food that temporarily boosts your resistance to the cold.
When you reach the location, search at the foot of the mountain for a pit containing the buried skeleton of a giant. You’ll find the Darkbringer sword lodged in its jaw – simply pull it out. Luckily, the area is clear of enemies, so you can take the sword without any trouble.
The Darkbringer weapon in Crimson Desert is a powerful tier four option that already has a Critical Rate of level 3. But its biggest strength is the special Ator’s Orb Abyss Gear it activates when you use heavy attacks (pressing R2 on PlayStation, RT on Xbox, or right-click on PC). This launches several energy orbs that follow enemies and deal damage.
This weapon is very effective in sieges or when liberating areas, allowing you to defeat large groups of enemies faster. You also have the option to remove the Ator’s Orb Abyss Gear from the Darkbringer and attach it to a weapon you prefer.
Combine more abilities from the Abyss Gear that trigger when you press the heavy attack button (R2 on PlayStation, RT on Xbox, or right-click on PC), and you’ll create an incredibly powerful weapon in Crimson Desert.
