Dead by Daylight Reveals New Killer Coming in Sinister Grace Update

In simpler terms, the game Dead by Daylight is sharing details about the forthcoming Sinister Grace update. This update introduces a new character, both a killer and a survivor, inspired by Thai folklore.

Over time, the game “Dead by Daylight” has significantly expanded, adding numerous new killers and survivors to maintain player engagement and enthusiasm. Even as it edges closer to its 10-year mark, “Dead by Daylight” continues to thrive without showing any hints of slowing down.

Dead by Daylight Introduces Thai Survivor and Folklore Killer

Currently, the Sinister Grace update for “Dead by Daylight” has been unveiled, providing fans with an insight into what’s to come. The latest killer in “Dead by Daylight” is the Krasue; this unique entity can switch between appearing as a relatively ordinary woman and a grotesque figure with a disembodied head and trailing entrails from its neck. In folklore, the Krasue originated from an actual entity, but in this game, it was once a woman named Burong Sukapat who made a fateful deal that resulted in her transformation into this creature. Players will also have the option to select a new Survivor known as Vee Boonyasak, who is a member of the band Axekick and plays the drums.

Regarding their unique skill sets, both Krasue and Boonyasak have distinct abilities in the game. Players controlling the Krasue can transform between two different forms: one with a floating head and an Intestinal Whip attack, and another as a human where it has a vomit attack that weakens players’ defense against the Intestinal Whip in its other form.

As for her special traits, the Krasue gains Hex: Overture of Doom, which places a curse on the most distant Generator. This causes survivors trying to repair it to panic and makes the killer invisible to others. Ravenous is activated after hooking any survivor in Dead by Daylight at least once, causing all survivors to scream and gain the Exposed status. Lastly, Wandering Eye allows the aura of nearby survivors to be seen while chasing a survivor, potentially making it easier to target less-defended ones.

In the spirit of her musical past, Vee Boonyasak seems to embody a minstrel in the game “Dead by Daylight.” Her starting perk is Ghost Notes, which enables her to recover from exhaustion swiftly and makes scratch marks vanish faster. Her ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR! ability conjures up an energetic performance that revives teammates and bestows them with multiple chances for Skill Checks. Lastly, the perk Road Life rewards players with tokens upon finishing a Repair Great Skill Check while injured. These tokens can be utilized to restore health levels.

Immediately, players have the opportunity to explore the latest characters in the Public Test Build (PTB) of Dead by Daylight. These characters will become part of the standard game starting from late September, once patch 9.2.0 is released.
