Dead by Daylight X Tokyo Ghoul: The Anime Invasion Begins!

Finally, it’s officially confirmed that the collaboration between the game “Dead by Daylight” and “Tokyo Ghoul” is moving forward, paving the way for future anime chapters. Currently, no other anime collaborations for “Dead by Daylight” have been revealed. Yet, the introduction of Ken Kaneki could significantly alter the game’s offerings. Earlier, it seemed that the game’s content was more limited. However, gradually, these boundaries have begun to broaden. With the “Tokyo Ghoul” chapter, “Dead by Daylight” gains a wealth of potential new Survivors and Killers to select from.

The popular series character Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul is set to appear in Dead by Daylight, embodying a darker, bloodthirsty version of himself in the game’s setting known as the Fog. Although Ken was a hero in his original storyline, Dead by Daylight will feature him as a ghoul who embraces his hunger and serves the Entity. Moreover, players can expect Survivor outfits inspired by various Tokyo Ghoul characters, with Rize Kamishiro appearing as a Legendary skin for Ken. Despite not introducing a new playable Survivor from Tokyo Ghoul, the collaboration offers a wealth of content for fans to enjoy.

Tokyo Ghoul Could Herald More Anime Characters in Dead by Daylight’s Future

The Junji Ito Collection Added Manga Horror to Dead by Daylight

Recently, the Junji Ito collection in Dead by Daylight was unveiled a few months ago. This collection introduced numerous skins inspired by some of Ito’s famous characters and tales. As a result, horror aficionados who enjoy reading manga can now experience the same chills as Dead by Daylight players thanks to this crossover event. It’s no surprise that a horror legend like Junji Ito would eventually make his way into gaming’s most significant horror collaboration. However, while the Junji Ito collection boasted many fantastic skins, the Tokyo Ghoul chapter is taking it one step further by introducing a completely new killer to the roster.

Previously, there was a collection based on “Attack on Titan” within the game “Dead by Daylight“, however, these character skins can’t be purchased inside the game anymore.

Tokyo Ghoul Joining Dead by Daylight Makes Perfect Sense

In terms of representing the first anime character in Dead by Daylight, given its many horror collaborations, Tokyo Ghoul’s Ken Kaneki was particularly fitting. This is because Dead by Daylight itself is based on horror and boasts some of the genre’s most iconic figures among its roster. While Tokyo Ghoul does have a lot of action, it also falls under the horror genre due to its unsettling themes and graphic violence. There are plenty of other horror anime available too. Now that Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul has been introduced to Dead by Daylight, we can only speculate which anime character might receive an invitation next within the Fog.

Dead by Daylight May Seek Out More Than Horror Anime

As a passionate fan, I’m always on the lookout for exciting developments in my favorite games, and Dead by Daylight certainly doesn’t disappoint! It’s not just about horror anime; Lara Croft’s appearance in the game proved that characters from various genres can bring new life to the Survivor and Killer roles. If a character is brave enough to be a hero or terrifying enough to be a villain, they could potentially join the ranks of Dead by Daylight – as long as the IP owners are on board. With so many iconic anime characters out there, the possibilities for new additions to Dead by Daylight’s roster seem endless! From Parasyte to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, who knows which beloved characters might show up next in Dead by Daylight? The anticipation is killing me!

Hopefully, the collaboration between Tokyo Ghoul and Dead by Daylight will pave the way for future crossovers in Dead by Daylight. With Tokyo Ghoul set to join the game soon and Five Nights at Freddy’s already scheduled to appear in a few months, it seems that Behavior Interactive is branching out and expanding their horizons. The fearsome creatures from Tokyo Ghoul will likely make their mark on The Entity’s playground, and Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul may soon join other anime characters in Dead by Daylight.
