As an avid survivor of the zombie apocalypse and a seasoned veteran of the Dead Rising franchise, I can confidently say that the Deluxe Remaster has not disappointed me one bit! The updated graphics are a treat for my eyes, and the autosaves have saved me from countless near-death experiences.
The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster represents a fresh take on the much-adored original, with Capcom preserving its chaotic spirit while enhancing the visuals. The addition of auto-save functions and more intelligent survivor characters caters to new gamers, but veterans can still anticipate the same grueling boss battles and time constraints.
In a nutshell, the character Frank West is an adventurous and seasoned photographer in the game Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. He’ll go to great lengths to capture the news-making story of the millennium. While taking photographs isn’t essential, it can help Frank accumulate experience points more swiftly. There are three camera shops scattered throughout the Willamette Parkview Mall where you can recharge Frank’s camera batteries, just like in the original game. These shops also offer new camera part upgrades that enhance Frank’s Camera in unique ways. Keep reading to discover where these upgrades can be found.
Flash Upgrade
The Flash upgrade is the easiest to find. Exit the Warehouse into the Paradise Plaza part of the mall.Cam’s Camera is directly to the right of the Warehouse exit. Grab the Flash part from the glass displays on the left side of the store.
To turn on the flash during camera usage, simply press the ‘L1’ or ‘LB’ button. The flash will go off automatically once you snap a photo.
Brightness Upgrade
The Brightness Upgrade can be found in the Wonderland Plaza. The Philo’s Photos store is on the second floor of this area. It’s on the east side of the plaza across from the Sir Book-a-lot bookstore.
Grab the light intensity control from the display case on the left in the compact camera shop. Adjust it by pressing the D-pad’s up and down buttons while peering through the camera lens to adjust the image’s brightness. This feature is particularly handy for snapping shots in dimly lit environments. Additionally, this enhancement can aid you in locating items within the Leisure Park and other outdoor spaces during nighttime.
Focus Upgrade
The last upgrade can be found in the North Plaza. Pearly White’s Photo camera store is to the left of the North Plaza entrance that sits north of the Leisure Park. The store is across the way from the Crislip’s Home Saloon hardware store.
As a gamer, I’d navigate towards the display cases on the right side of the store, reaching out to grab the Focus part. While aiming with my in-game camera, I remember to press Square and Triangle (or X and Y, depending on the system) to enhance the image clarity.
