As a seasoned survivor of the zombie apocalypse, I must admit that I’ve seen it all – from the mundane to the downright absurd. But even I was taken aback by some of the new achievements Capcom has added to the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

The Dead Rising Deluxe Remastered version has made adjustments to certain achievements in the zombie game. This fresh take on the beloved Capcom title offers players upgraded visuals and several significant improvements for a smoother gaming experience.

The enhancements in the “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster” have a substantial impact on gameplay. Players can now skip time, enabling them to reach objectives more swiftly, while survivors are significantly more resilient compared to their counterparts in the 2006 version. Alterations to Infinity Mode make it simpler for players to achieve the most challenging achievements because they can now pause and resume a game during play, and they receive additional supplies by defeating enemies.

In the remastered version of Dead Rising, many of the achievement challenges have been streamlined to make them easier for players to unlock. For instance, Sharp Dresser previously needed players to wear 20 different outfits, but now only requires five changes. Similarly, Bullet Point calls for shooting 300 bullets instead of the original 1,000. Item Smasher is now about breaking 30 items instead of 100. The challenging Karate Champ achievement, which originally required players to kill 1,000 zombies barehanded, has been significantly simplified without revealing specific details that might spoil the game. Stunt Rider and Stunt Driver are now combined into a single achievement. The Frank the Pimp achievement, which previously involved escorting eight female survivors in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster simultaneously, has been renamed as The Grateful Eight. One of the most significant changes is that Transmissionary no longer requires answering every radio call from Otis, but only 30 of them. Be aware that this list includes both the main achievements and secret ones, so be cautious to avoid potential SPOILERS related to the game’s storyline. Achievements with modifications or new ones are highlighted in bold.

The problematic Perfect Gunner, which was present in the original Dead Rising, has been eliminated, along with Indoorsman and Outdoorsman, two rather uneventful achievements that required players to spend prolonged periods inside and outside respectively.
