As a dedicated fan of Deadzone: Rogue, I’m thrilled to announce that we can now enjoy the game’s single-player campaign offline! This has been a long-awaited feature among the community. Developed by Prophecy Games, Deadzone: Rogue is an exhilarating sci-fi first-person shooter that just entered early access on PC, making waves since its release on April 30.

Rogue has received on Steam.

On the 3rd of May, Prophecy Games introduced their significant first update since the early-access launch of Deadzone: Rogue on Steam, incorporating the long-awaited offline single-player mode in their shooter game. The studio emphasized that this addition was a top priority for the team as it was the most frequently demanded feature from fans. Discussing the new mode, the developers expressed that it represented a “significant shift” to their backend system. Although they guaranteed the feature’s reliability, they also promised to monitor the patch’s performance to ensure the offline support functioned properly. Moreover, they verified that the co-op mode would remain online exclusive. According to SteamDB statistics, the latest update, highlighted by the offline single-player mode, appears to have increased Deadzone: Rogue‘s player engagement, reaching a record high of 7,229 concurrent players on May 4.

In addition to previously mentioned updates, the 0.1.1.0 patch for “Deadzone: Rogue” introduced a fresh mission called “Uniform Chaos II” in Zone 2. This new mission serves as a sequel to “Uniform Chaos I,” challenging players to engage in intense battles against numerous enemy groups. In each room, a specific type of foe is randomly generated. Furthermore, the update includes adjustments to gameplay mechanics to maintain balance within the sci-fi shooter genre, particularly focusing on respawn mechanics. Lastly, this patch addresses various bugs, primarily concerning weapon issues, boss fights, and other miscellaneous matters.

With the recent update introducing a much-anticipated feature, gamers now have a significant incentive to immerse themselves in the thrilling first-person shooter action of “Deadzone: Rogue“. Should the developers consistently roll out such crucial updates, it’s plausible that the game’s active player base could experience steady growth over time.

Deadzone: Rogue Patch Version 0.1.1.0 Patch Notes

Added Offline Single Player Mode

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that we’ve finally added the long-awaited offline single-player mode in Deadzone! This feature has been at the top of your wish list, and our team has worked tirelessly to make it available for you this week. We couldn’t wait any longer to bring this enhancement to the community, and I hope you’ll savor the improved gaming experience over the weekend!

Here’s a significant alteration for our back-end systems. We anticipate that performance will remain consistent post internal testing, but we’ll keep a close eye on the update to ensure it functions as intended. It’s important to mention that co-op mode continues to necessitate an active internet connection, enabling players to enjoy a synchronized gaming experience in real time.

Added a new mission, Uniform Chaos II

In this task, every room generates a swarm of identical adversaries for you to vanquish. This design is inspired by the Uniform Chaos I objective and provides an even greater assortment of foe types and increased difficulty for seasoned gamers. You’ll find this challenge in Zone 2 – we wish you a fun time!

Balance Improvements

Bots

– Replaced the Laser Crawler in Headhunter Mission with Nyxis.

Weapons

– Dual SMGS: Reduced Spread by 20%, and doubled proc rate

General Gameplay

– Updated the respawn system in co-op mode

– When a player dies in co-op, they will now respawn at the exit doors.

– Implemented several safety checks to ensure players will respawn after an encounter.

– Exit doors will now automatically open after 10 seconds.

– Players can only quick melee/lunge once while in the air.

– Added a new description tag for Experimental weapons.

– Lowered the sounds for crit hit and headshots.

Fixes

– Fixed more soft lock issues with Zone 2.

– Fixed an issue where lightning barrels would instantly kill players in the Headhunter mission.

Revised the system so that feedback indicators for self-inflicted damage or damage over time no longer exclusively point towards their original source. Instead, they will now adapt to the player’s current direction.

I will now propose a rephrased version that is both natural and easy to comprehend:
– Resolved the problem of players joining cooperatively causing Singularity to momentarily vanish prior to its actual expiration time.

Here’s another option for variety:
– Corrected an issue where players teaming up would lead to Singularity being prematurely hidden, before it had actually elapsed.

I will provide a solution for an issue that occurred when players utilized the Dual SMGs setup, causing their shoulders to pass through their own bodies. Now, this problem has been resolved.

– Fixed an issue where pet bots would not respawn in co-op after their owner respawned.

In cooperative play, we’ve resolved a problem where if a player with ammo upgrades discards a weapon, the weapon keeps the same ammunition count as its original owner.

– Fixed an issue where the Zone 1 boss could be meleed while its shield was up.

– Fixed an issue where reloads would not be paused if the player was frozen.

– Fixed an issue where bosses would not properly focus players as their main priority.

– Fixed an issue where the Elemental Siege Construct’s projectile was disappearing prematurely.

– Fixed an issue where Spider bots had some trouble attacking players on top of boxes.

We’re thrilled to offer you all a little treat for this weekend, we hope you have a blast enjoying it! Truth be told, we’ve been putting in some serious hours since the launch – releasing patches day after day – but every moment has been worth it. It’s truly exhilarating to witness our game gaining popularity so rapidly, with nearly 100,000 players already!

Wishing you all a fantastic weekend!
