Death Stranding 2 PC Port Leaked Ahead of Announcement

A version of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach for PC has been discovered online before any official announcement. The information appeared in a rating filed with the ESRB for Windows PC.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, a highly praised game released in 2025, builds upon the unique world and gameplay of the original Death Stranding from 2019. Developed by Kojima Productions for PlayStation, the game tasks players with delivering packages and rebuilding a fractured America. The sequel is earning rave reviews for its story, music, and direction by renowned creator Hideo Kojima, known for the Metal Gear series. It’s a major contender at The Game Awards 2025, nominated for Game of the Year and six other awards. Currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, indications suggest a PC version is also in development.

A PC Port of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Has Been Leaked by the ESRB

The ESRB website accidentally revealed a Windows PC version of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, even though there hasn’t been an official announcement about a PC release yet. While this is a significant leak, it’s best to remain cautious until confirmed. The game’s rating is ‘Mature,’ the same as the PlayStation 5 version, and the rating details mention specific elements like the guitar weapon and robotic samurai. As of now, the leaked page is still live on the ESRB site.

The first Death Stranding game came to PC in July 2020, several months after its initial launch. Now that it’s been rated for PC, it seems likely the sequel, Death Stranding 2, will be available on Windows PC much sooner this time around. With The Game Awards happening in just two weeks, it’s possible Hideo Kojima intended to announce it then. Regardless, the leak appears credible, and if it’s accurate, players will be able to experience what could be one of the year’s top games on a new platform.
