According to movie site Bloody Disgusting, it is Michael Sarnoski, an American director, who will undertake the challenge of adapting Death Stranding for the big screen.

Born in Wisconsin, this director boasts just three significant directorial works under his belt, yet Sarnoski’s oeuvre demonstrates that a substantial impact can be made even with a limited portfolio.

In a different yet clear manner: He penned and orchestrated the play titled “Pig,” a production that lives up to its label by narrating the tale of a truffle hunter who must venture out of the Oregon wilderness to save his kidnapped foraging swine. Besides penning and overseeing A Quiet Place: Day One, which is a prequel spin-off from the apocalyptic horror series set to release in 2024, John Krasinski initially selected Jeff Nichols for this project.
