Delta Force Mobile Has Been Delayed to Summer 2025

Team Jade recently announced that the handheld version of their hit first-person shooter game, Delta Force Mobile, has been pushed back to Summer 2025. In a social media post, they explained that this delay is due to the fact that they want to ensure players get an exceptional gaming experience and more time is needed for additional optimization.

Starting December 5th, the open beta for the Delta Force game became available on personal computers, with the mobile versions (iOS and Android) scheduled for release later this month.

‘A Very Ambitious Project’

On social media, Team Jade wrote:

Regardless of any perspective, Delta Force remains an exceptionally ambitious undertaking, a fact which brings us to some updates concerning the launch of our game on mobile devices. Upon examination of our production process, we’ve found that the existing release schedule for the mobile adaptation won’t permit us to provide the premium gaming experience you expect.

The mobile version will now launch in Summer 2025.

We’re currently finding that the game operates flawlessly on mobile platforms, but we’d like to invest some additional effort to guarantee its smooth performance on various types of devices.

After making this promise, the team assures us that 2025 will be an exceptional year for the broader community. A abundance of content is in store, featuring five fresh Operators, at least seven new maps, various weapons, vehicles, and exciting additional features. Initially, Delta Force appeared to be just a mobile game filled with microtransactions; however, that’s not the complete picture now.

Delta Force is an exceptionally proficient shooting team, and that’s about the whole story. In jest, I once said that Delta Force resembles the best Battlefield game I’ve played in years, due to its striking similarity with expansive, free-roaming maps, class system, vehicles, game modes, and even user interface. It could be seen as treading on the hallowed ground of Electronic Arts’ legendary first-person shooter franchise, but with Battlefield not delivering much at present, it’s a refreshing change.
