Delta Force Planning ‘Major’ Performance Improvements for Consoles

The upcoming future releases of Delta Force on gaming consoles are set to deliver significant performance enhancements, as confirmed by its developers. Developed by TiMi Studio, this tactical shooter has revived the popular series and seen considerable success. The console release has boosted its popularity even more. Now, PlayStation and Xbox players of Delta Force can anticipate an even brighter future for the game.

For approximately a year, the free-to-play first-person shooter was playable only on PC and mobile devices. However, starting August 19, it expanded to include Xbox Series X/S and PS5 platforms, about a month after the new season launched on other systems. Now, Team Jade, the division of TiMi Studio Group overseeing the development of Delta Force, has unveiled their plans for these newly released versions of the game.

Delta Force Will Get a “Major Performance and Graphics Boost” on Consoles in the Future

In simpler terms, according to a report by MP1st, Team Jade has exciting plans for the console versions of Delta Force, which will be implemented in future updates. One major change is that the Performance Mode will run at significantly higher frame rates on all consoles, including the Xbox Series S, with these enhancements expected in the upcoming seasonal update. Additionally, Delta Force will support PSSR on the PS5 Pro. It’s been leaked that Sony aims to boost PSSR’s upscaling resolutions on the PS5 Pro by 2026. These Delta Force improvements could significantly impact the gaming experience in the future.

As a gaming enthusiast who’s been eagerly awaiting updates, I’m thrilled to share that PS5 and Xbox gamers will soon be able to use mouse and keyboard, but keep in mind this feature will activate crossplay for a fair match experience. While games like Delta Force currently support console-only crossplay, it’ll be intriguing to observe the impact of incorporating PC players using mouse and keyboards on the game dynamics.

Moreover, console gamers can look forward to gyro aiming support next year, even though we don’t have precise schedules beyond that. Additionally, enhancements to controller shooting experiences, upgrades to analog movement, and overall performance updates are in the works too!

The studio additionally confirmed they’ll be tougher on players using unauthorized means. Already, over 1,400 Delta Force gamers have faced penalties as the developers have intensified their efforts against cheaters. With the recent expansion to consoles, this issue might draw even more scrutiny. However, there’s no precise timeline available for when these changes will occur. Team Jade mentioned that visual improvements will be introduced with the upcoming seasonal update and gyro support is expected in 2026, but further details are yet to be disclosed, so stay tuned for updates.
