Delta Force Reveals New Operator for Upcoming Season

Team Jade recently revealed a fresh addition to their Delta Force unit, named Raptor, set to debut in the upcoming game season on September 23rd. Although there was some controversy surrounding its single-player Black Hawk Down campaign early in 2025, the free-to-play shooter has had a successful year overall, particularly in the last season. Now, players of Delta Force can look forward to more excitement, as they anticipate not only a new operator but also exciting new gameplay updates that are almost here.

The latest season of Delta Force, titled “Break,” debuted on July 9, with its console versions (Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5) following shortly before October. This new season introduced two new maps, a new assault class operator, and three additional weapons to the game. However, a significant mid-season update added even more content. Now that console players have joined in, along with an increase in PC player counts, Delta Force’s user base is larger than ever and eagerly anticipates upcoming updates.

New Recon Operator, Raptor, Is Coming to Delta Force on September 23

On September 7, fans got their initial glimpse of the upcoming Recon class operator, Landon Harrison, or Raptor, who is set to debut on September 23 with the new season titled “War Ablaze.” The primary focus of Raptor’s gameplay revolves around a drone called Silver Wing, capable of tagging all enemies within its line of sight and acting as a guided bomb if required.

In addition to the drone, Raptor comes equipped with an EMP grenade that disables the electronic devices of nearby enemies. He also boasts two traits centered around tracking: Trace Tracker, which displays recent footprints and details about the operators who left them behind, and Trace Detection, alerting players when an enemy is targeting them.

Though the Recon class in Delta Force can be challenging to master, this new equipment makes the class more versatile and potent than ever.

Apart from introducing a fresh Delta Force operator, the sixth season is set to unveil a brand-new Warfare map, at least two distinct weapons, and an advanced F-45A Fighter Jet. When Season 4 of Delta Force was launched in April, it brought about enhanced difficulty modes and various new equipment items, apart from the standard updates. As such, fans might expect additional surprises for the latest season, but they’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

Team Jade has implemented significant enhancements not just by introducing fresh content for the game’s multiplayer, but also by addressing underlying issues. In the time span of March 14 to March 20, approximately 1,000 players were prohibited from playing Delta Force due to cheating, with some of these accounts being inactive for more than a decade. Furthermore, the developers have announced substantial upgrades aimed at enhancing the console gaming experience, which will be implemented across multiple updates in the coming period.
