Delta Force Season 2 Content

As a dedicated gamer, I can confidently say that Team Jade’s reboot of the classic Delta Force franchise has been nothing short of exhilarating in its first month. The number of active players simultaneously enjoying this game on Steam has consistently hovered around 100,000 during the initial season, demonstrating a solid player base and an engaging gaming experience that keeps us coming back for more!

The versatile, free-to-play multiplayer shooter we recently unveiled has a packed schedule for the upcoming year. Notably, it’s planned to debut on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and the eagerly awaited remake of the Black Hawk Down singleplayer and co-op mode is also part of this exciting lineup.

After the initial triumph, Team Jade has unveiled the upcoming features for Delta Force Season 2, set to launch on the following Saturday (18/01).

Delta Force Season 2 Content Reveal

Delta Force M4 customized

From my perspective as an enthusiastic gamer, just like Jamie Hore from PC GamesN mentioned, the first season of Delta Force was somewhat of a trial run, yet it was brimming with content. Judging by the livestream, the second season of Delta Force is set to build upon that foundation significantly.

In the second season, known as Starfall, we’re introduced to Sineva, an operative equipped with a riot shield, deployable barbed wire, and a grappling hook.

The map section is set to acquire two fresh additions: a compact infantry-focused title known as Knife Edge, and Train Wreck, which is anticipated to have a similar scale to Zero Dam.

Additionally, the current setup will receive attention too. The Industrial area of Star City will be made more spacious, and Zero Dam is due for a significant underground extension. Fans of Escape From Tarkov understand just how important these changes are, as seen in the expansion of the Reserve map’s bunker.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that Starfall is introducing some fresh gameplay modes temporarily! One of these thrilling experiences is called Hot Zone. In this mode, you team up with two others to go head-to-head against two other teams. The objective? Either decode a MandelBrick or eliminate all the opponents. It’s a battle royale like never before!

If traditional “Counter-Strike” bomb-focused gameplay isn’t appealing to you, the latest season introduces a timeless Capture The Flag playing style as well.

Since these game modes are widely beloved in most big-name shooters, it would be great if Team Jade decides to make at least one of them a permanent feature.

Should you have about two hours free, a video detailing all the forthcoming features and alterations, as explained by Team Jade in both Mandarin and English, can be found there for your perusal.

Black Hawk Down Campaign Missions

At the close, the developers shared a glimpse into the objectives of the “Black Hawk Down” campaign.

In the first mission, you’ll experience life as if you were part of the Delta Force team, participating in a raid targeting a Somali militia gathering aimed at capturing important figures.

Missions 2 and 4 chronicle the journey of the 75th Rangers Regiment soldiers, attempting to return to United Nations-governed regions amidst enemy fire.

The primary objective for Missions 3 and 5 involves investigating the locations where Black Hawk helicopters crashed, but it remains undecided if these missions will be narrated from the point of view of Delta Force or Ranger units.

Mission 6 dims the lights as you fight your way out at night, potentially without night vision.

In closing, let me add that mission 7 takes its cue from the Mogadishu Mile, with our protagonists, a band of survivors, making their perilous journey on foot.

Moving along, mission 7 adopts the Mogadishu Mile scenario, where a group of resilient survivors embarks on a grueling, foot-bound trek.

So far, the release date for the campaign is unknown, but the creators have emphasized that it will focus on a cooperative play style.
