The anticipation for additional Deltarune material has finally been alleviated! It was disclosed during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation that Chapters 1-4 of Deltarune will be available on the platform at its launch this summer.

It has previously been confirmed by Toby Fox that Chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune will be released in 2025. Additionally, he mentioned that testing is being conducted on the console versions of the game. As a result, fans have been excitedly anticipating new content since Chapter 2 was launched in 2022.

The initial unveiling of Nintendo Switch 2 confirmed that Chapters 1-4 of Deltarune will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, which also marks the console’s launch day. A fresh trailer can now be found on the official YouTube channel of Undertale and Deltarune.

The YouTube video description for the Deltarune Chapters 1-4 trailer has been updated to reveal that the game will simultaneously release on the original Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC through Steam, coinciding with the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2.

As an enthusiastic fan, I can’t help but share my excitement after catching a glimpse of the latest trailer for Deltarune Chapters 1-4! It’s packed with intriguing new details about the game. Most notably, it seems that Deltarune Chapter 3 will immerse us in a captivating TV-inspired world, where our beloved trio will have a chance to show off their musical talents as they jam together in a rhythm game sequence. And if that’s not enough to get us hooked, the enigmatic grinning face from the TV at the end of Deltarune Chapter 2 is set to make another appearance! The anticipation is killing me!

The sneak peek for Chapter 4 of Deltarune presented a more enigmatic scene, featuring Kris and Susie with an altered color palette while they’re chased by strange fireballs. Given that Chapter 3 hasn’t been released yet, it makes sense that the initial trailer didn’t reveal many spoilers for what’s to come in the following chapters.

The downside of releasing Deltarune Chapters 1-4 at the same time as the Nintendo Switch 2 is that it’s going to be released alongside popular games like Mario Kart World, making it tougher for dedicated Deltarune fans to dive back into the Dark World on launch day. Instead, they will likely spend their day revisiting the fate of the Deltarune trio rather than racing on Rainbow Road.
