Demon Slayer has gained significant popularity due to its exceptional films, with “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” being the first of these remarkable productions. The film “Mugen Train” was particularly noteworthy as it set a massive first-day box office record in Japan at the time. Later, it surpassed all previous records to become the highest-grossing movie in Japanese history, a title it continues to hold.
Initially, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1, or Akaza’s Return, had broken the record set by another Demon Slayer movie, Mugen Train, on its opening day at the Japanese Box Office. This new film currently stands as the leader in first-day premieres, but only time will tell if it eventually outperforms Mugen Train in terms of overall box office earnings. As I stand by, it’s clear that the anime has already unfolded across 4 captivating seasons. Each season is available for viewing on Crunchyroll. Excitingly, the remaining chapters of the series are set to be transformed into films, though we’ll need to keep an eye out for their theatrical premiere.
