Following several attacks on the Demon Slayer Corps and the loss of two Hashira, all the demon slayers participated in intense training led by each of the Hashira. Most of the warriors found the training incredibly difficult and couldn’t meet the high standards. However, Tanjiro consistently rose to every challenge, impressing his fellow slayers and motivating them along the way.

Tanjiro Shows No Fear When Stepping Up To A Hashira

The initial meeting with the Hashira – the highest-ranking members of the Demon Slayer Corps – was an intimidating experience. It showed just how unique and unusual those who become leaders in the fight against demons are. A key issue discussed was whether Nezuko should be permitted to live.

Shinazugawa, who is the Wind Breathing Hashira, decided to give Nezuko a very harsh test, which immediately angered Tanjiro, her protective older brother. The Hashira are incredibly skilled fighters, regularly battling powerful demons, but Tanjiro managed to overwhelm Shinazugawa, forcing him to his knees, with just one headbutt.

The Entertainment District arc in Demon Slayer season two was fantastic throughout. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Sound Hashira, Tengen, investigated the district to locate Tengen’s missing wives and uncover the demon lurking within the population.
