Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

As a seasoned Destiny 2 veteran, I must say that the latest episode, Revenant, has truly lived up to my expectations and then some! The new exotics, particularly Alethonym, Blastwave Striders, Rime-Coat Raiment, Mask of Fealty, and the revamped Icebreaker, have added a fresh layer of excitement to my gameplay experience.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve been diving headfirst into Destiny 2’s latest episode, Revenant. This update has brought a fresh approach to tonic grinding, an engaging new storyline, and a thrilling new dungeon to conquer. Additionally, the changes introduced in this expansion have seen some exotic items taking a stronger stance in favor of Stasis, making it a more formidable subclass for high-level activities.

Currently, you have the chance to obtain 5 fresh exotic items, along with 2 newly added weapons, and a unique item for each class in Destiny 2. However, keep in mind that these offerings might shift as new episodes roll out, much like the final exotic mission for Choir of One demonstrated.

Alethonym Grenade Launcher

Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

One advantage of using Alethonym is its unique feature, Harvester Spike, which transforms weapon kills into Vestiges. You can gather these Vestiges and once you’ve accumulated enough to reach half-full in your Vestigial Alchemy bar, you gain access to a special reload option that rewards you and your teammates with a special ammo pack upon your next kill. When the bar is completely full at 100%, you can manufacture a Heavy ammo pack instead.

In the Season Pass, you’ll find Alethynium, which can be obtained at level 1 if you have the Season Pass. For those playing without a Season Pass, it becomes accessible at level 40.

Blastwave Striders Titan Leg Armor

Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

By vanquishing adversaries, the Blastwave Striders gain power. Subsequently, you can opt to inflict self-destructive explosive damage or propel backwards via a slide-rocket jump, simultaneously releasing projectiles that create Stasis crystals upon impact. Your powered rocket jumps bestow Frost Armor on you, and the ability also lessens the harm sustained when self-inflicting explosion damage.

To unlock the exotic, you need to gain reputation and reach Rank 16 with Master Rahool. Then you’ll gain access to tier 3 decoding where you can choose what exotics you want to drop. You can find the Blastwave Striders in this menu.

Rime-Coat Raiment Warlock Chest Armor

Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

The special ability of Rime-Coat Raiment, known as Bleak Domain, increases the reach of your Bleak Watcher turret and generates Stasis crystals and a Stasis Storm around it. When you’re within this storm, you accumulate Icicles, and enemies shot from inside the storm will be slowed down.

Similar to acquiring the Titan Leg Armor, you must elevate your rank to 16 with Master Rahool and unlock Tier 3 decoding as prerequisites. Boosting your standing with him can be achieved by opening prime and exotic engrams that you obtain from participating in various activities.

Mask of Fealty Hunter Helmet

Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

The special ability of Null Factor, attached to the Mask of Fealty, transforms successful hits with Withering Blade into tiny crystals of Stasis and restores some of your melee energy. Destroying a Stasis crystal or a frozen foe using Withering Blade will trigger an explosion of Withering Blades.

You’ll acquire the third exotic item by elevating your standing with Master Rahool to rank 16. Similar to the first two, achieving this rank will grant you access to the tier 3 decoding menu. Within this menu, you can obtain the Mask of Fealty once you have an exotic engram to spare.

Icebreaker Sniper Rifle

Destiny 2: All new Revenant Exotics and How to Get Them

For those who’ve been playing since the debut of Destiny, Icebreaker won’t be an unfamiliar title, and Bungie has reintroduced it in Destiny 2’s Vesper Dungeon. You don’t need to perform any particular tasks to obtain it; instead, simply run the new dungeon, complete the final encounter, and it may drop at random.

Instead of having an infinite ammo feature like in Destiny, where you could essentially have unlimited ammunition for it, the Ice Breaker in Destiny 2 will self-regenerate ammo for up to 10 shots when you score kills using other weapons.
