Destiny 2: Hawkmoon PvP God Roll
The Hawkmoon weapon primarily excels in Player versus Player (PvP) scenarios, offering little advantage in Player versus Environment (PvE). While it’s technically possible to adapt it for PvE with an emphasis on its Exotic trait and precise shots, this approach is not generally effective or recommended, especially when tackling high-level content.

In this third column, the standout benefit for PvP is called Eye of the Storm. As your health decreases, it boosts your weapon’s stability and precision. The primary reason to choose it over Opening Shot lies in Hawkmoon’s Catalyst. Its unique perk, Hunter’s Trace, expands the magazine capacity and enhances reload speed, handling, and range depending on the number of Paracausal Charge stacks you have accumulated.
In conclusion, the Smooth Grip provides advantages without any downsides, so you won’t require extra control from a Polymer Grip due to the Eye of the Storm feature. However, if you prefer, you can choose a Heavy Grip. The Eye of the Storm feature compensates for the handling loss on the Heavy Grip, and it even adds additional control from Paracausal Charge stacks.
How to Get Hawkmoon in Destiny 2
Obtaining Hawkmoon with the desired permutation can be somewhat challenging since the Harbinger mission no longer provides it. Currently, you can only acquire it from Xur, who appears every Friday through Tuesday. He offers a diverse range of items such as Exotic Armor, Exotic Class goods, weapon Catalysts, Legendary equipment, and other exciting items.
