As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours under my belt in Destiny 2, I must say the second encounter of Vesper’s Host is a delightful challenge that tests both strategy and reflexes. The servitor boss fight, though not particularly difficult, introduces a new role – Suppressor, which adds an exciting twist to the usual routine.
In the second battle of Vesper’s Host dungeon within Destiny 2, you’ll face a boss battle against an unusual-looking servitor who occasionally launches circular explosives into the arena. Although this fight isn’t particularly challenging, it introduces a new role called Suppressor to the fray. This encounter does not include the Scanner protocol, but players should remember the functions of each role as they prepare for the final battle after Raneiks.
How To Defeat Raneiks Unified
Gather Four Numbers To Start The Damage Phase
As a fan, I’m tasked with finding and activating a series of four-digit codes hidden on keypads scattered around the structure, close to the rally banner. These codes could be anywhere, so I might need to explore and search for them diligently. The numbers range from 0 (which represents 10) all the way down to 1.
As the confrontation begins, eliminate your adversaries. One of them will discard the Operator Protocol, so be sure to deposit it securely in the terminal for safekeeping until needed later. Raneiks calls forth a significant Fallen miniboss, known as the Machine Priest, to the battlefield’s center. Overpower him, and your team will be transported to the upper part of the arena.
In this area, eliminate both the explosive and standard shanks, but be careful not to trigger Raneiks’ bombs. Later on, a shank carrying a blue Suppressor function will appear beside Raneiks.
Eliminate him, grab the role, and press your Grenade skill button to produce a fake version of you close to Raneiks. Fire at the decoy, and Raneiks will divide into numerous small servants.
From among these attendants, you’ll find two with luminescent symbols on their visages. Be sure to remember their names. For instance, if Raneiks-2 and Raneiks-9 bear the symbols, the numbers to enter will be 2 and 9. Now, you can reenter the arena through the doorway behind Raneiks, as a new round begins, identical to the last one. In the provided image, Raneiks-5 and the servitor to its left are the ones you’re looking for.
After obtaining the second pair of numbers, please select the Red Operator Protocol and enter the figures by hitting the appropriate targets. The order doesn’t matter; only the correct ones should be hit. This action initiates the DPS phase.
Dealing Damage To Raneiks
In DPS gameplay, the Raneiks enemies will move towards the center of the stage, right in front of the stairs. A foe carrying a Suppressor protocol will also appear. Eliminate this enemy, snatch the protocol, and employ your Grenade ability a second time to establish a decoy. Then, fire the decoy to make Raneiks divide into numerous servitors.
When Raneiks is in this shape, it sustains higher levels of harm. Regardless of which servitor gets hurt, the important thing is that they are injured. Thus, weapons that cause splash damage like grenade launchers and Parasite will prove useful here, together with any burst ultimate. Keep replicating the encounter until the boss has only a single unit of health left.
Raneik’s final scrap of health might take some time to eliminate. Keep targeting and eliminating the servitors until they’re all deceased, leaving orbs in their wake. This marks the end of the second encounter and the first boss fight within Vesper’s Host. To move forward, locate an open doorway at the upper part of the arena.
