As a seasoned Guardian who’s traversed countless Lost Sectors and battled countless foes, I can confidently guide you through these mysterious geometries that lead to the coveted exotic ship, The First Knife.

In Destiny 2, there’s a lot to uncover in The Pale Heart, and you might have encountered a task in the Final Form triumph that demands destroying all Paracausal Structures to obtain The First Knife exotic ship. These Paracausal Structures can be found scattered across the destination, but it could be difficult to figure out how to eliminate them all if you’re not familiar with what they look like or where to find them.

To start, make sure you finish the “Alone in the Dark” mission series in “Destiny 2” several times. Since this mission can be repeated, each time you complete it, a fresh Paranormal Activity event will appear on your map for you to follow. These events ultimately guide you towards the Paracausal Geometries, or cubes, which you must destroy to earn the achievement.

At the Pale Heart destination, there are a total of 11 types of Paracausal Geometries to discover. To collect them all, you’ll have to finish Alone in the Dark 11 times. After finishing each quest, you can trace the locations where Paranormal Activity events occur as they become active once the quests are completed. This method provides the simplest guidance for determining the path to take and locating the cubes that need to be shot.

After completing the necessary quests, follow the quest marker until you come across a small, radiant orb at the center of a circular symbol on the ground. When you get close to this orb, it will offer an opportunity for communication. Engage with it, and you’ll receive the Aura of Balance enhancement, which empowers you to subsequently eliminate both red and blue blocks.

As a gamer, I’ve got to find a spot where I can keep an eye on both cubes simultaneously. After I blast one of ’em, a circle appears beneath my character, and I gotta stick within that circle while taking down the remaining cube.

If you move outside this circle, destroying the cubes won’t trigger, and you won’t get the triumph.

You can find a set of Paracausal Geometries in most areas in the Pale Heart, starting with The Transgression. The Paranormal Activity events appear in a certain order, and sometimes you’ll need to go through Lost Sectors to find them. You won’t get them as quests in your log, so to track them, you need to click on them in the Pale Heart Destination map.

The Transgression

In Destiny 2, the Paranormal Activity Transgression will guide you into a remote area where you’ll find a room with a central small platform. On this platform’s peak, you’ll spot the interactive point, often referred to as the Communion Point. After interacting with it, lower yourself to the ground and search for the red cube nestled between some pillars.

Position yourself next to the red cube and fire at it with Darkness damage. After that, search for a blue cube on the other side of the room. This blue cube should be located under the structure where you discovered the Commune point earlier. Following your attack on the red cube, stay within the circle that appears and shoot the blue cube. With this action, you’ve successfully unlocked your first Paracausal Geometry.

The Blooming

Venture over to the southwestern corner of Blooming in Destiny 2. There, you’ll discover the elusive next Commune point perched on a tiny ledge near the massive rock pillar that dominates this area. If I ever find myself lost, I’d keep tabs on any Paranormal Activity and follow the quest marker to guide me back on track.

After acquiring the buff, proceed beyond the Communal landmark and take a left turn. Move forward slightly, and you’ll find the blue cube directly in front of you. Position yourself next to it, and gaze over the valley to locate the red cube hidden behind a big rock.

The Impasse

Approach the notable pyramid-shaped structure at the Impasse’s landing zone first. You’ll find a smaller elevated platform nearby, which is where the Commune point is located. However, to uncover the Paracausal Geometry in this region, you’ll need to move away from that building a bit.

After engaging with the Commune spot, move towards the second big building on the left side of the pyramid. You might remember it as a place you visited during your Visions of the Traveler collection. To continue, position yourself on the wall at the far end, near a massive drop. There, you’ll find the blue cube beneath the Transgression entrance. The red cube is suspended slightly above where the Commune point previously was.

The Lost City

As a gamer, I’d say: “To find the Lost City, keep moving towards Micah-10, then take a right turn. After that, descend and stick to the path till you spot the entrance doorway. Once through it, the Commune point will be waiting just outside.

First, search for a statue located beyond the Communal landmark. Ascend the nearby structure until you spot a blue cube perched atop the roof of the building you previously passed. Additionally, look towards the right and below the big building on your right to locate the red cube.

The Lost City Outskirts

Starting from the location where I demolished the final set of Paracausal Geometries within the Misplaced City, I’ll make my way back to the initial spot where the Final Shape initiative began. Keep an eye out for the significant point in a courtyard featuring a large tree.

Keep within the courtyard’s boundaries and rotate to align with the tree. Ascend the stairs and proceed towards the left corner of the courtyard until you spot a blue cube through a grilled opening in this area. You’ll be able to observe a red cube across the tree from your current position too, achieving your fifth Paracausal Geometry discovery.

The Seclusion

In the depths of a secluded area lies your next set of cubes, nestled within caverns boasting trees growing upside-down and waterfalls cascading overhead. Upon entering the chamber, locate the communal spot immediately, where you’ll easily spot the blue cube positioned inside.

Instead, The red cube is concealed beneath a stone column on one side of the room. By leaping to the stage below the blue cube, you should be able to spot the stone column. Leap to the platform adjacent to the column, and you’ll have an unobstructed view of both cubes for easy removal.

The Landing

Head towards the designated spot within The Landing, specifically seeking out a towering blue structure situated close to the waterfall. The Communion point can be found near a massive tree root on the opposite side of this building. Upon activating it, ascend the tree root and position yourself roughly in the center.

You can see the blue cube clearly near the bronze statue near the blue building, but you’ll have to jump to clearly shoot the red cube, which is lying underneath the waterfall. Just time your shot properly to get the Paracausal Geometry done in this area.

The Forgotten Deep

In the location known as The Landing, you’ll discover a forgotten area called The Forgotten Deep, where crucial Paracausal Geometry awaits discovery. To navigate through this Lost Sector, you’ll need to strategically summon Hive minions at certain intervals to smash past specific crystals that can only be destroyed after defeating the surrounding enemies.

In the third room of this hidden area called the Lost Sector, you’ll spot the Commune point close to a big statue. After activating it, search for a small platform situated near the room’s exit. Ascend to a vent on this platform and keep an eye out for a red cube beneath a building on your right side. The blue cube is positioned on the opposite end of the room, hovering above a structure resembling a trellis.

The Blooming Deep

In the Blossoming, you can discover the following Paracausal Geometry within another Hidden Area known as the Blooming Deep. Progress through the Lost Sector until you encounter a transcendence pond. Make sure you’ve passed by the blue cube, but continue past it.

As you approach, you’ll find the Communal Point, where upon activation, return to the Pond of Ascension. In this spot, you can find yourself right in the center of a small platform, allowing you to see both the blue and red cubes simultaneously.

The Divide

After reaching The Divide, look for the Commune point marked by an arch in the location guided by your quest marker. However, before you can find and eliminate both cubes, you’ll need to journey further. Upon exiting the cave, search for another archway nearby. Continue ascending until you spot a damaged airfield.

If you were perched atop the aircraft’s nose, you would observe a red cube within when you rotate your view. Meanwhile, the blue cube, possibly glimpsed close to the Communal point, becomes visible if you peer down from the very tip of the nose.

The Refraction

You can find the Commune point in the Refraction just west of where Ikora crashes her ship in the Pale Heart. Once you’ve activated the point, climb up to the rocky outcrop above the ship. You can get there by climbing some of the larger tree branches nearby.

As you arrive at the rock, gaze directly forward and slightly to the left to find the red cube. The blue cube is visible if you look towards the river below, where the water flows. If you have trouble spotting it, try moving around as it might be concealed by some foliage.

After discovering all the Paracausal Geometries, you’ll gain access to “The First Knife“, an exotic and chic spaceship.
