Although specific details about the upcoming expansion for Destiny 2 are limited, the creators at Bungie are using this time to look back on the incredible journey that spanned a decade.
Indeed, an exclusive 10-year celebration event has been arranged within “Destiny 2”. Alongside a fresh game title, players have the chance to secure a distinctive armor collection called the Veteran Legend Armor Set. Here’s a brief guide on how you can acquire it:
The event kicked off exactly at the daily reset on September 9th. Although there aren’t any in-game notifications about it, the event is currently underway.
How to Get the Veteran Legend Armor Set
To obtain the Veteran Legend Armor set, you need to locate all five hidden Stashes of Cayde-6 within the Tower’s Pale Heart area. Each stash provides an armor piece upon discovery. Start your search by moving past the mailbox and ascending the stairs behind it. At the top of these stairs, turn right and follow the path around the corner to find the first stash.
Behind the boxes, you’ll find the hidden cache – it’s the same spot where Cayde-6 stood before the end of the “The Final Shape” campaign.
The third stash can be found by going down the stairs that lead to the Vanguard Command Table back during Destiny 1. At the bottom of the stairs, turn around to see the spot where Eris Morn used to be to find the stash.
To find the fourth stash, go toward the blocked-off entrance to the Hangar. Go past the Cabal Guard and go right toward the balcony. The stash will be there.
As a dedicated enthusiast, I’m excited to share that the last hidden cache is tucked away in the Speaker’s Chamber, the very same place where the Exotic variant of Khvostov can be obtained. Upon stepping into this chamber, head right towards the window, and voilà! There you’ll find the elusive fifth stash.
Instead of turning the Veteran Legend Armor set into decorations, wait until you’ve collected all five pieces. Then, head to the Tower social space on Earth and approach the Special Deliveries Kiosk near Banshee-44. You can obtain the ornamental version of the armor from this kiosk.
Does the Veteran Legend Armor Set Do Anything Special?
Once you’ve gathered all five components of the Veteran Legend Armor Set, the requirements for earning the Legend title become clear. To fulfill two of the objectives needed for the Legend title, however, you must either wear the armor set itself or the universal version of the armor ornament.
