Destiny 2 is Receiving Star Wars Skins Along with Heresy Act 1

Today, Bungie revealed that starting February 4, 2025, players of Destiny 2 can expect to don Star Wars-themed outfits and accessories, alongside the release of the game’s concluding Chapter, titled Heresy.

The creators have given a sneak peek into the upcoming Destiny 2 Star Wars-themed outfits and extras, but we’re still waiting for details on what specific items will be made available. Players can anticipate new armor ornaments, accessories, emotes, and finishers that take inspiration from Star Wars. Furthermore, when Heresy is launched, three new armor ornaments (one for each Guardian class) based on the soldiers of the Galactic Empire will be introduced.

Destiny 2’s Heresy Act 1

Besides the Destiny 2 and Star Wars crossover, developers have shared details about their third episode and concluding chapter, titled Heresy. Prepare for the resurfacing of a recurring adversary: the Dreadnaught. But unlike before, players will lead the assault on the Dreadnaught via a novel exploration and combat-focused activity called The Nether. The Heresy Episode is divided into three Acts.

Additionally, during the forthcoming Destiny 2 update, developers plan to test out player modifiers. Once the Heresy update is released, players will notice changes such as larger health pools that don’t regenerate, scarce ammo drops and revive tokens, and alterations in healing mechanics throughout gameplay. Bungie encourages players to carefully construct their gear for survivability, as health pool sizes expand and self-healing is removed in the upcoming update.
