On July 22, an update for Destiny 2 was rolled out. This recent update from Bungie is designed to address several glitches that have been causing trouble for players since the launch of the Edge of Fate expansion. The goal is to improve gameplay and keep the community actively involved.
A fresh chapter unfolds in Destiny 2 as adventurers delve into the enigmatic Kepler planetoid following the launch of the Edge of Fate expansion. Although Bungie has equipped players with fresh gear, firearms, and abilities for their Guardians, there are no new fundamental gameplay activities. However, existing features have been revamped to offer a revitalized loot selection and heightened difficulty, providing an invigorating test for gamers. The initial days after Edge of Fate’s debut were bumpy, but to enhance the experience and iron out any wrinkles, a new Destiny 2 patch has been released to tackle several aspects.
In the latest update, version 9.0.0.3 for “Destiny 2”, several troublesome bugs have been addressed and fixed. For instance, issues related to The Portal, a significant feature introduced in Edge of Fate expansion, have been rectified. This includes incorrect Conquest modifier displays and an unintentionally lower extra loot drop rate. Also, the problem that caused Kepler engrams for higher gear tiers to show incorrect prerequisites has been solved. Lastly, players who were encountering camera troubles while using the Matterspark ability will no longer experience such issues following the application of patch 9.0.0.3.
one that caused mouse-related problems for players using higher resolutions on Steam, and another that affected those using Ultrawide screen settings, causing mouse issues.
In the latest patch for Destiny 2 (version 9.0.0.3), the primary focus is on fixing bugs to ensure a smooth rollout of the Edge of Fate expansion. However, it also introduces two new features. Firstly, the Cutting Edge PvP mode, initially scheduled for July 22, has been added to Destiny 2. This gameplay mode imposes a limited loadout and requires players to don a new armor set that comes with an increased Crucible Rewards Multiplier. Secondly, the Exotic Sparrow, Enneachord, can now be claimed by players who own either The Year of Prophecy or The Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition in Destiny 2.
