Destiny 2: Tinasha’s Mastery God Roll Guide

Among the many sought-after Rocket Sidearms in Destiny 2, Tinasha’s Mastery stands out as one of the most favored, especially when compared to other Legendary guns in the Primary Slot for Special Ammo weapons. It leaves ample opportunity for players to explore and wield some formidable Exotic options. Given its popularity and power in PvE gameplay, many players might be curious about how they can acquire this masterful weapon.

To excel in PvE encounters and boost your chances against human enemies, learning how to acquire Tinasha’s Mastery and its optimal God Roll is beneficial. This Stasis Rocket Sidearm will be an essential addition to your weapon collection if you’re ready to engage in some PvP combat as well.

How to Get Tinasha’s Mastery in Destiny 2

As a devoted Guardian, I can tell you that Tinasha’s Mastery is exclusively earned through Iron Banner matches and the corresponding Iron Binder engrams, which can be decrypted at Lord Saladin in the Tower. The Iron Banner, a temporary Player versus Player (PvP) mode, was last active on April 1, 2025, but unfortunately, there’s been no official announcement about its return date. Whenever it does reappear, I’ll be ready to jump into the Crucible playlist and complete Iron Banner matches to accumulate Iron Binder engrams and rank-ups, which will later unlock roles of Tinasha’s Mastery upon decryption.

If players haven’t acquired Tinasha’s Mastery by chance through Iron Banner rewards and engrams, they won’t be able to decrypt specific weapons using their Iron Banner engrams. So, it would be wise for them to accumulate some engrams, as Tinasha’s Mastery can only be obtained after winning or losing an Iron Banner match.

Tinasha’s Mastery PvE God Roll in Destiny 2

Barrel Quick Launch
Magazine Appended Mag
Perk One Air Trigger
Perk Two Chill Clip
Mod Backup Mag
  • The God Roll to look out for is Air Trigger & Chill Clip.

Players might find it beneficial to opt for the Air Trigger in Perk 1. The Air Trigger boosts ammo reserves and accelerates reloading speed, while enhancing accuracy when players are airborne. This means they can utilize Tinasha’s Mastery for quicker firing exchanges more effectively by bunny hopping the reload. Although Air Trigger stands out as the superior choice for Perk 1, Loose Change is a viable alternative, offering an improvement to Tinasha’s Mastery’s reloading speed following the application of an elemental debuff to an enemy target.

Regarding Perk 2, the Chill Clip is an essential addition, particularly since it boasts a large ammunition capacity due to Backup Rounds as its preferred ammo modification, combined with Air Trigger. With the Chill Clip, direct hits on the top portion of the magazine will trigger explosions that slow down targets. This Stasis Rocket Sidearm, in turn, means enemies will not only be slowed but also frozen and shattered.
