As a seasoned Guardian with years of experience under my belt, I’ve had the pleasure of coming across Xur and his intriguing selection of legendary armor and weapons. Each time I meet him, I can’t help but be drawn to his enigmatic demeanor and the promise of new gear that could potentially revolutionize my playstyle.

Xur is back in “Destiny 2” once more, bringing fresh exotic and legendary loot for players to explore, only available for a restricted period. In the subsequent chapter of “Destiny 2’s” Episode Echoes (Act 2), the narrative between Nessus and the Vex advances further, along with new collectibles to acquire for Failsafe at the H.E.L.M.

In addition to advancing the narrative in Act 2, there were also fresh elements introduced. For instance, a revamped version of Battlegrounds activity emerged, allowing players to obtain desirable items such as the coveted Abberant Action solar rocket sidearm. Furthermore, Bungie is reintroducing Saint-14’s Perfect Paradox shotgun, and five new Destiny 2 artifact perks are up for grabs to amplify the power of solar and precision weapons.

Currently, the merchant Xur in “Destiny 2” offers freshly arrived exotic and legendary items for players during the weekend. As a gamer, I can tell you that if you find yourself in the Bazaar area, which lies between two of your fast travel points, you have the freedom to choose which one to activate and warp to. Once there, make your way towards Ikora and Hawthorne’s location. You’ll eventually come across a small Ramen Shop nestled against the back wall. With the shop behind you, take a right turn at the alleyway, and there you’ll find Xur, standing and waiting for your visit.

Destiny 2 Class Armor and Exotic Cipher

Xur still provides players with their weekly dose of quests, exotics, and legendary equipment. These tasks are essential to obtain a second fated engram and gain access to legacy exotic gear from the Tower’s kiosk. You can earn a new cipher by completing strikes or winning Crucible or Gambit matches. Plus, you’ll receive bonus points for teaming up with your clanmates or tackling harder activities.

Astrocyte Verse – Warlock helmet

Exotic Perks:

Move to Survive – Blink further and more frequently, causing targets near to become volatile. Weapon readies quickly out of Blink and radar remains up. While Nova Warp Super is active, Dark Blink does not cost Super energy. Provides a moderate benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.

As a seasoned player with hundreds of hours logged into Destiny 2, I must admit that this exotic item on offer this week leaves me rather underwhelmed. The roll, in my humble opinion, is not something I would readily recommend to my fellow Guardians. It falls short among the other exotic gear we’ve encountered.

Gemini Jester – Hunter leg armor

Exotic Perk:

Misdirection – Dodging disorients nearby enemies and temporarily removes their radar.

The stats on the Gemini Jester’s gem rolls are quite satisfactory, but the exotics associated with them aren’t essential purchases in today’s game environment.

Dunemarchers – Titan leg armor

Exotic Perk:

Linear Actuators – Increases sprint speed. Sprinting builds up a static charge. After melee-attacking an enemy, that charge will chain damage to nearby enemies.

Based on my experience as a long-time player of this game, I’d say this week’s addition is a strong choice with impressive statistics. However, it might not completely overshadow the current go-to options for Episode Echoes. As someone who’s been through numerous metas and tried out various champions, I can attest to the value of having versatility in your roster. Even if this exotic isn’t an immediate replacement for the established picks, it’s still a worthwhile addition to one’s collection.

Xur Inventory Items

In the game “Destiny 2,” the seventh year (or an update in it) has made some significant improvements to Xur’s inventory. Now, players can advance through ranks, earn rewards, and choose specializations. Xur no longer only offers weapons and armor; his stock includes various other items as well.

Xur’s Exotic Weapons

In a new update for Year 7 students, Xur now provides the option to obtain several exotic weapons during a single visit. This is how it looks for Xur’s current inventory:

Hawkmoon – Hand Cannon

Paracausal Shot – Final blows and precision hits with Hawkmoon grant stacks of Paracausal Charge. The final round in the magazine deals bonus damage based on the number of stacks. Stowing Hawkmoon on the final round removes this bonus.

Arbalest – Linear Fusion Rifle

Compounding Force – Fires slugs that cause massive damage to combatant shields. Strong against [Shield-Piercing] Barrier Champions.
Disruption Break – Breaking an enemy’s shield with this weapon makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief period.

Trinity Ghoul – Combat Bow

Split Electron – Fires an arrow that splits when released. Aiming down sights and fully drawing the bow both decrease the spread.
Lightning Rod – Precision kills grant the next shot chain-lightning capabilities.

The Prospector – Heavy Grenade Launcher

Excavation – Hold to fire grenades. Release to detonate all live grenades simultaneously. Grenades stick to surfaces and set targets on fire. Defeating targets creates Arc explosions.
