Once more, Xur has made an appearance in Destiny 2, bringing along fresh exotic and legendary equipment for gamers to explore temporarily. As another weekend draws near in Destiny 2, we’re just days away from the impending launch of the next event, set to commence at reset the following week. In a recent blog update, Bungie announced Arms Week, a time-limited event focusing on a particular weapon category, providing unique weapons, mods, and quests. For this initial occurrence, Hand Cannons will take center stage, accompanied by special volatile mods and the newly introduced Phoneutria Fera, a solar gun that fires in a spread pattern using primary ammo.
In addition to this, Bungie is diligently addressing the persistent problems in the gameplay. Lately, Bungie has acknowledged a problem with the recharge rates of abilities in Destiny 2, as reported by the community. Players now need to reach a minimum build of 85 instead of the previously announced 70. However, a solution is being developed, and more details will be provided in the patch notes.
Currently, the enigmatic vendor Xur has returned once more, offering fresh goods tailored for Destiny 2 enthusiasts. Here’s a rundown on his current whereabouts this weekend, updates regarding his exotic cipher quest, and a comprehensive review of all the exotic and legendary items he’s selling during July 25, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Now, Xur has settled down permanently within the Bazaar region of The Tower, eliminating the need for any weekend searches to find him.
As a gamer,
“In this game world, the Bazaar lies smack-dab between my two fast travel destinations. I can choose either one to jump into. Once there, I should move towards where Ikora and Hawthorne are hanging out. From there, I’ll spot a Ramen Shop nestled against the back wall. With the shop right in front of me, I’ll find an alleyway to my right – that’s where Xur has set up his booth.
Destiny 2 Class Armor
With the addition of the Edge of Fate expansion, Xur’s responsibilities in the Tower have grown a bit. Now, instead of selling legendary armor, Xur offers more exotic gear. Specifically, he sells two items for each class every week. You can still find Xur’s revised inventory at the Tower Bazaar in Destiny 2.
