In the gaming world of Destiny 2, Xur is back once more, bringing fresh exotic and legendary items for enthusiasts to explore temporarily. This week marks another chapter in the game, with the Rite of the Nine event progressing as Prophecy serves as the highlighted dungeon for the following fortnight. The upcoming week brings about an enhanced resource drop rate, but things get even more exciting later on when all three dungeons reappear along with a grand “lootapalooza” event slated for July.
This week, players can expect a fresh update for Destiny 2, resolving several ongoing problems and glitches that have been affecting gameplay. The June update includes tweaks to certain weapons, resolves an irritating Rite of the Nine bug, and simplifies the Seeker of the Nine Triumph, thereby making it quicker for some to unlock the Eternal title by achieving it more easily.
While in the interim, the enigmatic merchant Xur has resurfaced with fresh stock of equipment tailored for Destiny 2 enthusiasts. Here’s your guide to pinpoint his whereabouts this weekend, along with updates on his exotic cipher quest and a comprehensive rundown of all the exotic and legendary loot he’s offering during the weekend of June 6th, 2025.
Where is Xur?
Instead of searching for Xur on weekends, you can now find him permanently settled within The Tower’s Bazaar region, eliminating the need for any further hunts.

Because the Marketplace lies in the middle of both rapid travel spots, players have the freedom to choose either one as their entry point. Make your way to the spot where Ikora and Hawthorne are usually found. Once there, look for the Ramen Shop positioned at the back wall. With the shop facing you, the hidden alleyway where Xur resides will be on your right side.
Destiny 2 Exotic Class Armor
Over time, Xur’s responsibilities have grown and changed. With the introduction of The Final Shape expansion, Xur’s offerings in Destiny 2 increased significantly. Now, Strange Coins serve as the preferred currency once again, and his inventory includes rank rewards, resources, and of course, armor and weapons.

Astrocyte Verse – Warlock helmet
Exotic Perks:
- – Blink further and more frequently, causing targets near you to become volatile. Weapon readies quickly out of Blink and radar remains up. While your Nova Warp Super is active, Dark Blink does not cost Super energy. Provides a moderate benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.
At long last, I’ve hit level 70! There’s a slight hiccup though; my Mobility stat is a bit more than the typical Warlock might prefer. But hey, it’s still a worthy pickup, especially for those PvP Voidwalkers like me who thrive in the heat of battle.
Stat Values (70 Total):
- Mobility +21
- Resilience +2
- Recovery +13
- Discipline +26
- Intellect +2
- Strength +6

Oathkeeper – Hunter gauntlets
Exotic Perk:
- – Bow charges can be held indefinitely. Gain a bonus to the Bow’s damage when released, based on how long the charge was held. Provides a moderate benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of Bows.
This week’s suggestion leans towards being challenging, particularly for Bow users. Nevertheless, other alternatives are proving more effective at present. However, there is a valid argument to consider this option due to its balanced roll, making it potentially beneficial as an upgrade or replacement for inferior rolls or collector’s versions.
Stat Values (67 Total):
- Mobility +11
- Resilience +12
- Recovery +13
- Discipline +15
- Intellect +10
- Strength +6

An Insurmountable Skullfort – Titan helmet
Exotic Perk:
- – Final blows with Arc melees trigger health regeneration and fully restore a melee charge. Melee hits grant Arc melee energy.
As a gamer, I’ve got to say that while this gear boasts the lowest roll this week, its top-tier Mobility score makes it quite challenging to endorse. I think I’ll pass on this one for now.
Stat Values (63 total):
- Mobility +23
- Resilience +3
- Recovery +8
- Discipline +11
- Intellect +2
- Strength +16

Xur’s Exotic Weapons
This weekend, Xur in Year 7 has been updated to provide more than one exotic weapon per visit. Here’s what Xur is offering now:

Hawkmoon – Hand Cannon
- – Final blows and precision hits with Hawkmoon grant stacks of Paracausal Charge. The final round in the magazine deals bonus damage based on the number of stacks. Stowing Hawkmoon on the final round removes this bonus.

Monte Carlo – Auto Rifle
- – Dealing damage with this weapon reduces your melee cooldown and grants a chance to fully charge your melee ability with each kill.
- – This weapon gains increased damage from melee kills and kills with this weapon. Melee kills grant ammo for this weapon.

Riskrunner – Submachine Gun
- – When taking Arc Damage, this weapon becomes more powerful and resists incoming Arc Damage. Kills extend the time in this overcharged state.
- – When Arc Conductor is active, shots fired have the chance to become chain lightning and return ammo.

The Prospector – Grenade Launcher
- – Grenades spawn cluster bombs upon detonation. Defeating targets creates Arc explosions.
- – Holding down the trigger will fire this weapon at full auto.
- Volatile Launch
