By doing so, players avoid encountering both Barrier Champions in the vicinity and even skip one without sacrificing Platinum rewards.

Another example is how killing the Hive Lightbearer Wizard in the middle of the Strike will make a miniboss appear in the boss room, but if the Wizard is kept at low health, it will spawn with that same amount of HP in the boss room, meaning that it’s easier to take it down. There have been a few discussions over the years about artificial difficulty in Destiny 2‘s endgame content, with Champions and Surges being the biggest culprits. However, The Final Shape arguably made Guardians the strongest they’ve ever been with more power-crept weapons, subclasses, and Exotics. As such, Liminality could have been the “GM that makes you cry,” but it’s nothing that mechanical knowledge and game knowledge won’t fix rather quickly.

Among these obstacles are a series of puzzles that require players, including myself, to collect Taken Essence from distinct rooms and then transfer it to the Ahamkara skulls situated in the main area. These tasks come up not just at the end of the strike, but also in the midst of the action.

With practice and familiarity, you’ll find the experience becoming progressively simpler. Notably, Destiny 2’s Prismatic builds offer significant advantages, enabling swift elimination of enemy clusters, Champions, and even the formidable Tormentor boss.

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I cannot stress enough the importance of paying close attention to your surroundings in the “GM Liminality” game. I’ve been caught off guard more times than I can count, finding myself trapped in the “village” area as the floor begins to fill with menacing lava. And let me tell you, it’s a frustrating and disheartening experience when your teammates’ revival attempts fail.

In comparison to GM Nightfalls such as “Destiny 2″‘s Lightblade in The Witch Queen and PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome during the Season of the Risen, these activities were perceived as more challenging when initially released due to power level progression. At that time, only Void subclasses had been updated with their 3.0 Aspects and Fragments, leaving other classes on the 2.0 model. Despite being difficult, Liminality, a current GM Nightfall, might not be as challenging as Bungie anticipated in the present game environment.
